What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 8, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • market_search

Search this hub's catalogue of live data and computation by what you need, in plain words. Each match gives the product_id, capability_id and source_hub to pass to market_invoke, its price, `input` (the fields its input object takes) and `relevance` from 0 to 1; a `note` says whe

  • market_invoke

Invoke a capability found via market_search. A few trial invokes are granted per caller with no wallet, key or channel, and each returns the hub's signed receipt; when the allowance is spent the hub answers 402 and this reports that rather than inventing a result, with next_steps

  • pipeline_prepare

Validate a graph and return a signed quote and payment offers. No work or payment. Free steps require no wallet; paid steps require buyer wallet address. Use gas_mode=required to demand gas sponsorship or auto to prefer it. Inspect ready/blockers and gas_sponsorship. Sign offers

  • pipeline_invoke

Execute or continue the SAME prepared graph. Submit authorizations when the signed quote enables gas_sponsorship, otherwise buyer-signed transactions; none for free steps. Never submit both payment modes. Retain run_id/access_token and the exact bundle. Pending is not failure; re

  • pipeline_status

Read an existing pipeline, including cached signed result, without broadcasting payments or invoking providers. No wallet signer or blockchain RPC required. Inspect recovery.action for unresolved work.

  • pipeline_refund_prepare

Prepare a cash refund for a verified paid step of a finished pipeline. This moves no money. The original seller must approve the exact EIP-3009 authorization locally; never send a private key. Refunds require seller cooperation and a configured gas sponsor.

  • pipeline_refund

Submit the original seller's refund authorization or resume the SAME refund. The recipient is the original buyer, amount is the paid step price, and the sponsor pays gas. Preserve the exact authorization after a lost response. Returns a separately signed credit note; the original

  • pipeline_refund_status

Read the saved cash-refund status and signed credit note without broadcasting a transaction. No private key or RPC is required. Pending means resume the same refund, never send a replacement transfer.

  • weather_now

Current weather at a place: temperature (°C), humidity (%), pressure (hPa) and wind (m/s) from the nearest live Open-Meteo relay within 75 km, with a signed receipt. Pass latitude and longitude, or a city. Paid per call; market_search shows the current price. The first few priced

  • air_quality_now

Current air quality at a place: PM2.5 and PM10 (µg/m³), US and European AQI, from Copernicus CAMS via Open-Meteo, with a signed receipt. Pass latitude and longitude, or a city. Paid per call; market_search shows the current price. The first few priced calls per caller are free.

  • nearby_sensors

The nearest live public sensors to a point, one per layer asked for (e.g. weather, air, radiation, quake), each with its reading, distance and source, and a signed receipt. Paid per call; market_search shows the current price. The first few priced calls per caller are free.

  • fair_random

Verifiable random bytes for a draw, raffle or tie-break: an ECVRF output over your seed plus a proof anyone can check offline. The same seed always gives the same output, so publish the seed first to show the result was not picked. Paid per call; market_search shows the current p

  • x402_check

Check a signed x402 USDC payment before submitting it: recovers the EIP-712 signer, runs USDC's own checks and the seller's (payTo, amount, asset, network), and when the signature fails names the domain it was really made for (e.g. Base Sepolia's 'USDC' used on Base, where USDC i

Common questions

Is Attested Memory Market safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (3.15.16) reached the registry 28 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

In the same category: Context7, Codebase Memory, Exa

Attested Memory Hub

Attested Memory — verifiable memory for AI agents

Memory Market · Truth Layer · Provenance Ledger · one Memory Unit contract

Landing · Live site · GitHub Pages · clients/python

Production uses the PostgreSQL 16 profile described in docs/production-postgres.md. Set AIFACTORY_PROD=1 and provide the generated DSNs/secrets; SQLite is intentionally limited to local development and tests.

Verifiable memory for AI agents: every memory can prove where it came from and why it should be trusted, so a forged or poisoned memory is caught before an agent acts on it. Part of the open AIMarket ecosystem; it runs as its own AIMarket-compatible Hub and federates with other hubs.

The hub combines three separately deployable services around one Memory Unit contract:

ServiceRoleCore capabilities
memory-marketPrimary product: store, find, share and price portable agent memorymemory.write, memory.read, memory.search, memory.share, memory.score
truth-layerEvidence and contradiction analysismemory.verify, claim.check, contradiction.scan, evidence.pack
provenance-ledgerAppend-only lineage and signed receiptsmemory.attest, lineage.get, receipt.verify

The market is the product wedge. Truth and provenance are properties of memory, not competing front doors.

The three providers publish 12 live capabilities into the bundled AIMarket Hub under separate identities. Its signed ecosystem.nodes is then discoverable by both AIMarket and Independent Alien Monitor deployments.

Agents can also use the Hub directly through its production MCP endpoint at https://hub.attestedmemory.net/mcp. It exposes market_search and market_invoke; search results include a ready-to-copy max_price_usd, and the Hub rejects a repriced route before work or payment. See MCP access.

Run the hub

Requirements: Docker Compose v2, Git and OpenSSL.

./start.sh

start.sh calls scripts/ensure_env.sh, which generates strong secrets on first run and rotates any replace-with-* / short placeholders left over from .env.example. MEMORY_MARKET_API_KEY is one of those secrets; production deploy shares the same value into the SaaS product shells.

For a production host (HTTPS URLs, KOVA, payment recipient, SaaS edge):

./scripts/deploy_attested_memory.sh # maintainers: lives in the AIMarket monorepo; see its header

start.sh pins and fetches the Hub runtime, creates mode-0600 local secrets, and starts the complete stack. Data and signing keys are stored in named Docker volumes. Hybrid Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65 signing is enabled and required for this Hub's providers and provenance receipts. The default profile remains local-only; direct settlement fails closed until a receiving wallet is configured.

Direct wallet payments

Set the operator's public Base address in .env and restart the stack:

PAYMENT_RECIPIENT=0xYour40HexCharacterBaseAddress

Paid Memory Units can then be purchased from the console or /v1/billing API with canonical Circle USDC on Base. Funds go directly to that address; the service has no private key. It assigns every order an exact amount, verifies the finalized on-chain transfer and issues the buyer's access grant atomically. See the payment guide before enabling it in production.

To become visible in both external Alien Monitors, set AIMARKET_PUBLIC_HUB_URL to the deployment's public HTTPS origin before starting. The bootstrap announces to modelmarket.dev and independentai.network; operators of those roots must still approve and pin the peer. See Alien Monitor integration.

Development

Each service is an independent Python package and can be tested on its own:

./scripts/check.sh

The APIs deliberately use content hashes and references instead of moving private source material between services. See architecture, capabilities, security, payments, and monetization.

Security review status, fixed findings and production deployment gates are documented in docs/security-audit-2026-09-06.md.

Source and contributions

Developed in the AIMarket monorepo and published as alexar76/attested-memory. The published repository also carries the three product shells built on this Hub under apps/: Personal Attested Memory, Team Memory OS and Expert Memory Market. Issues and pull requests are welcome there.

Status

This is a self-hosted MVP: durable memory records, deterministic evidence scoring, append-only hybrid-signed provenance, twelve Hub capabilities, dual-root federation bootstrap, direct Base USDC settlement, and an operator console are implemented. Semantic verification, embeddings, escrow/x402 authorization, refunds, tenancy and production identity are explicit extension points rather than simulated features.
