Three things to decide before AI touches your shop
1Read only, or allowed to change things?
Some servers only read sales. Others can create products, issue refunds or email customers. Start with a read-only key and add permissions only when you need them.
2Test mode before the real thing
Most payment systems, Stripe included, offer test keys. Try your AI requests with a test key until you trust them, then switch to the live key.
3Customer data is personal data
Customer names, addresses and phone numbers are protected by privacy law (PDPA in Thailand). Show the AI only what the task needs, and pick an AI app that does not train on your data.
