Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Audit apps against App Store, Google Play and Google OAuth review rules; get the required docs.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Add2https://…3
https://approvekit.dev/mcp

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http approvekit https://approvekit.dev/mcp

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "approvekit": {
      "url": "https://approvekit.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "approvekit": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://approvekit.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Create2https://…3
https://approvekit.dev/mcp

Menu names can differ slightly by plan and over time.

Your choice stays on this device in a cookie; no account needed.

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 8, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • create_checkout

    Creates a Stripe Checkout link for one app. Only call this after the user agreed to the purchase. Show the link to the user so they can pay; then call get_order with the returned order_id to receive the documents.

  • get_order

    Returns the payment status of an order. Once paid, returns every generated document as Markdown plus the public URLs of the hosted privacy policy and account deletion pages, ready to paste into App Store Connect, Play Console or the Google OAuth consent screen.

  • publish_document

    Saves the final version of a document after every [CONFIRM: ...] placeholder has been resolved with the user. For privacy-policy and account-deletion this makes the hosted page live at its public URL; for the other kinds it just stores the final text. Call it again whenever the t

Common questions

Is ApproveKit safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.1.0) reached the registry 39 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

ApproveKit

Get AI-built apps through App Store review, Google Play review and Google OAuth verification.

ApproveKit is a Claude Code plugin plus a remote MCP server. Your coding agent reads the repo, builds an inventory of what the app collects, and runs a free audit against the rules reviewers actually apply. If you want the documents those reviews require, the agent gets them generated and hosted for a one-time fee per app.

Install

claude plugin marketplace add yateshaw/approvekit

claude plugin install approvekit@approvekit

Then, inside any app repo, tell Claude:

get my app ready for the App Store

or "prepare the Google OAuth verification", "why would Google Play reject this app", "I need a privacy policy and an account deletion page".

Any MCP-capable agent can use the server without the plugin:

claude mcp add --transport http approvekit https://approvekit.dev/mcp

What it does

  1. Inventory. The skill tells the agent how to derive platforms, sign-in methods, permissions, data collected, third-party SDKs, Google OAuth scopes and payments from the repo (Expo, React Native, Flutter, native iOS and Android, web). Your source code never leaves your machine; only the inventory is sent.
  2. Free audit. 23 rules across Apple's App Review Guidelines, Google Play policy and Google's OAuth verification. Every finding comes with its severity, the fix, and a link to the official source.
  3. Documents (paid, optional). A privacy policy and an account deletion page hosted at yourapp.approvekit.dev, reviewer notes for App Store Connect and Play Console, and for Google OAuth the per-scope justifications and the demo video shot list. Anything the repo cannot answer is marked [CONFIRM: ...] for you to fill in; pages go live only when the text is final.

The agent never buys on its own: it reports the findings and the price, and creates a checkout link only after you say yes.
