Browser Use
Lets AI do web tasks for you, such as filling forms, searching and extracting data, in the maker’s cloud browsers or on your computer.
Description from the maker (original English)
Give AI agents a real cloud Chrome: open sessions, navigate, read pages, click, type and screenshot.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

browser_workspaceShow your active browsers and saved sessions in a workspace beside the conversation. Does not allocate or connect a browser. Optionally show a connected browser and its current screenshot. Use the sessionId and address from the selected browser to continue work.
resume_saved_sessionResume an existing saved session owned by the connected account. Reuses an active browser with the label, otherwise opens one metered browser with a 180-second idle timeout, restoring cookies and storage, not tabs. Only call after the user requests resume. Never retry an ambiguou
open_browserOpen one remote browser in the cloud with the connected CloudBrowser account. Use it only for websites and accounts that the user owns or is authorized to use, and follow their terms. Browsers open without stealth fingerprints.
close_browserClose a specific browser
get_browsersGet list of active browsers
start_remote_desktopStart remote desktop access to a browser
stop_remote_desktopStop remote desktop access to a browser
get_saved_sessionsGet list of saved sessions
remove_saved_sessionDelete a saved session
connect_to_browserConnect to CloudBrowser browser for direct control
navigate_to_urlNavigate the connected browser to a URL that the user asked for. Use it only for websites and accounts that the user owns or is authorized to use, and follow their terms. Stop at logins, MFA and CAPTCHAs and hand control to the user; this tool does not solve CAPTCHAs.
get_page_contentGet the HTML content of the current page to answer the user's request about it. Use it only for websites and accounts that the user owns or is authorized to use, and follow their terms. Not for crawling or bulk data extraction from third-party websites.
click_elementClick on a page element
type_textType text into an element
get_elementsGet information about elements matching a selector
take_screenshotTake screenshot of the current page
disconnect_browserDisconnect this control session from a browser. The browser keeps running; use close_browser to stop it.
get_connected_browsersList the browsers that this caller has connected for direct control

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.1.15) reached the registry 9 days ago.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Give ChatGPT, Claude and your AI agents a real browser. CloudBrowser runs Chrome in the cloud. Your assistant opens a browser, navigates, reads pages, clicks, types and takes screenshots, and you can watch live or take over at any time.
https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai (Streamable HTTP)ai.cloudbrowser/mcpThe server uses OAuth. Your client opens a browser window, you sign in with your CloudBrowser account and approve access. You do not copy an API key.
Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, enter https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai and select Connect.
claude mcp add --transport http cloudbrowser https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai
Then run /mcp in Claude Code and authenticate cloudbrowser.
codex mcp add cloudbrowser --url https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai
codex mcp login cloudbrowser
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": { "cloudbrowser": { "url": "https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai" } } }
code --add-mcp '{"name":"cloudbrowser","type":"http","url":"https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai"}'
gemini mcp add --transport http cloudbrowser https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai
Add a custom connector (in ChatGPT, developer mode) with the URL https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai. Any client that supports Streamable HTTP and MCP OAuth works.
The server advertises 20 tools. Your client gets the current schemas from tools/list.

Sign in with your CloudBrowser account. Scope: browser:control (openid email optional). Developers can send their own account token instead: Authorization: Bearer . Keep the token in your client's secret settings, never in a prompt.
You need a CloudBrowser account. Browser usage follows your CloudBrowser plan.
This repository is the public home of the hosted CloudBrowser MCP server. It holds this setup guide and the registry metadata (server.json for the official MCP Registry, glama.json for Glama). The server runs as a hosted service at https://mcp.cloudbrowser.ai. Its source code is not in this repository.
