Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Cheaper cross-chain stablecoin routes for AI agents; 5 % of the verified saving, nothing if none.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

  • Connection: Computer or cloud
  • Transport: stdio, Streamable HTTP
  • Category: Other
  • You need to fill in: RECTA_PRIVATE_KEY

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 3 of 3 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • Can do 5 things (tools) recta_about, recta_status, recta_service_descriptor, recta_prepare_signed_request …
  • You fill in yourself: RECTA_PRIVATE_KEY, RECTA_ALLOW_EXECUTE, RECTA_MAX_FEE_USDC, RECTA_MIN_OUTPUT_BPS

Values marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.

You need

  • Runs in the cloudNothing to install; it connects over the internet
  • npmNode.js installed (for the npx command)

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Create2https://…3
https://api.recta.build/mcp

Menu names can differ slightly by plan and over time.

Values you fill in

  • RECTA_PRIVATE_KEY secret required env
The agent wallet's private key (EOA). Used only locally, to sign; never sent to Recta.
  • RECTA_ALLOW_EXECUTE env
Set to yes to let the agent sign fee permits and send transactions. Anything else keeps the server read and preview only.
  • RECTA_MAX_FEE_USDC env
The most one fee permit may authorize, in USDC.
  • RECTA_MIN_OUTPUT_BPS env
The route must guarantee the recipient at least this share of the amount sent, in basis points.

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 6, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • recta_about

Start here. Call Recta before your agent moves stablecoins or BTC from one blockchain to another (a bridge or cross-chain transfer): give it the route you would use anyway, and it answers, for free, whether a cheaper route exists at the same chain state and proves the saving. If

  • recta_status

Call before relying on Recta in a run: whether it is ready to evaluate now, and its contract version.

  • recta_service_descriptor

Call to check whether a planned cross-chain transfer is covered: the supported corridors (source and destination networks and assets), the bridges compared (Across, CCTP, Stargate, USDT0 and others), amount ranges, limits and the JSON Schema of every request and response.

  • recta_prepare_signed_request

Step 1 of a free quote for a cross-chain transfer. Computes the exact message the agent's EVM wallet must sign (EIP-191 personal_sign) for one Recta request, and the headers to send. Holds no key and calls nothing. Then call recta_send_signed_request with the same method, path, i

  • recta_send_signed_request

Step 2: sends the request signed by the agent's own wallet to a Recta route and returns its HTTP status and JSON body. POST /v1/golden-corridor/commercial-evaluations returns, free, the cheapest provable route against the route the agent would use anyway, or an abstention. Execut

Common questions

Is Recta safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

You need to fill in: RECTA_PRIVATE_KEY

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

Either way works: install it on your computer or connect to the cloud version.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.1.0) reached the registry today.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?
