These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

kourses_list_member_membershipsList the memberships a member can access now (permissions that have not expired). Give the member by id or email. Kourses API: GET /members/{member}/memberships.
kourses_create_memberCreate a member on the Kourses website. If a member with this email already exists, the given fields OVERWRITE the stored ones and the status is 'updated'. Sends an activation email only when send_activation_notification is true (default false here; the API default is true). Kour
kourses_grant_membership_accessGive a member access to a membership, optionally until a date. No email is sent unless send_notification is true. Repeating a call keeps one permission, but sends the email again when send_notification is true. Kourses API: POST /members/{member}/memberships/{membership}/permissi
kourses_revoke_membership_accessRemove a member's access to a membership now, or on ends_at when it is given. The member loses the content they paid for; confirm first. Kourses API: DELETE /members/{member}/memberships/{membership}/permissions.

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.1.3) reached the registry today.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Kourses credentials.
Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/kourses/
On first connect you provide a Kourses API key (Kourses → Settings → API keys, created for one website). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
