Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Hyperliquid and Lighter market data: order books, trades, candles, funding, OI, and webhooks

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 1 of 1 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • The registry lists no key to fill in.

You need

Which app do you use?

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "0xarchive": {
      "url": "https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "0xarchive": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save

Common questions

Is 0xArchive Market Data safe?

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.5.0) reached the registry 21 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Query Hyperliquid and Lighter market data from your agent. Get current and historical order books, trades, candles, funding, open interest, liquidations, positions and data coverage through read-only market-data tools, and manage webhooks when you grant webhook access.

Highlights

  • No key, no install. Add one URL, sign in through your client's OAuth flow, and approve read access.
  • Every client that speaks MCP. Claude Code, Claude web and Desktop, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Antigravity and Gemini CLI, with setup steps for each below.
  • Both venues, every market. Hyperliquid core perps, HIP-3, HIP-4 and Spot, and Lighter on mainnet and Robinhood Chain.
  • Read-only by default. Market data needs mcp:market.read; webhook tools appear only if you also grant webhook scopes.

Connect

Server URL

https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp

Add the URL as a remote HTTP MCP server, then sign in with your 0xArchive account through the client's OAuth flow. Approve the mcp:market.read permission when prompted; approve mcp:webhooks.read and mcp:webhooks.write as well if you want the webhook tools. No 0xArchive API key or local MCP server installation is required.

Start with:

Get a BTC market summary on Hyperliquid.

Agents and clients

If you already have MCP servers configured, add 0xArchive without replacing the other entries.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http 0xarchive https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp

In Claude Code, run /mcp, select 0xarchive, and choose Authenticate. Complete the browser sign-in, then ask for a BTC market summary.

Claude Code MCP documentation

Claude web, Desktop, and Cowork

  1. Open 0xArchive in Claude's connector directory and add the connector.
  2. Sign in to 0xArchive and approve the connection.
  3. Enable it from + → Connectors in your conversation.

For Team and Enterprise workspaces, an owner first adds the connector in Organization settings → Connectors; each member then connects their own account.

To add it as a custom connector instead, open Customize → Connectors, click + → Add custom connector, name it 0xArchive, enter https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp, then click Connect and complete the OAuth sign-in.

ChatGPT

  1. Open the 0xArchive plugin by Archive Labs Inc and choose Install plugin.
  2. Connect it, sign in to 0xArchive, and approve the connection.
  3. Choose Try in chat to start a conversation with 0xArchive.

You can also find it by searching for 0xArchive in ChatGPT's Plugins directory.

To add it as a custom MCP connection instead, enable Developer mode in Settings → Security & Login, open Plugins and use the + button to add an MCP connection, name it 0xArchive, enter https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp, and complete OAuth authentication. Then select it from + → More in a new conversation.

Codex CLI and IDE extension

codex mcp add 0xarchive --url https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp

Complete the OAuth sign-in. To start authentication separately, run:

codex mcp login 0xarchive

Cursor

Add this entry to .cursor/mcp.json in your project. For a user-wide connection, use ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

{

"mcpServers": { "0xarchive": { "url": "https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp" } } }

Open Cursor's MCP settings, connect 0xarchive, and complete the OAuth sign-in. Enable the server's tools for Agent.

VS Code and GitHub Copilot

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose an HTTP server, and enter https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp.

Or add it to .vscode/mcp.json:

{

"servers": { "0xarchive": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp" } } }

Start the server and complete the browser OAuth flow. Use MCP: List Servers to check its status, then enable the tools you need in chat.

{

"mcpServers": { "0xarchive": { "serverUrl": "https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp" } } }

Open /mcp in Antigravity CLI to reload the configuration and check the server. Complete its OAuth authentication prompt. Use serverUrl, not Gemini CLI's httpUrl field.

Gemini CLI remains available with Gemini Code Assist Standard/Enterprise licenses or paid Google API access. From your project directory:

gemini mcp add --transport http 0xarchive https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp

Start Gemini and run:

/mcp auth 0xarchive

Complete the browser OAuth flow. /mcp shows the server and its available tools.

devin mcp login 0xarchive

Cascade

If you use Cascade, add this to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:

  2. Enter 0xarchive as the name and https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp as the URL.
  3. Choose Streamable HTTP and click Add Server.

Other MCP clients

Use the same server URL with a client that supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Let the client discover the authorization server and complete sign-in. Do not substitute an API key or a manually pasted bearer token.

For custom integrations, the server publishes OAuth resource metadata. See the MCP authorization specification for the client flow.
