Description from the maker (original English)
LLM API prices and AI agent cost estimates, verified daily. Read-only cost lookup tools.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

list_modelsList LLMs tracked by Agent Cost Hub with API list prices per 1M tokens. Optional filter by provider or text.
get_model_priceCurrent API list price of one model (input, output, cached input per 1M tokens) plus example monthly agent costs.
estimate_costEstimate the monthly API cost of an AI agent or chatbot on one model. Easiest: pass model + preset (chatbot, rag, coding_agent, research_agent). Or give input_tokens, output_tokens and calls_per_day (plus optional steps_per_task, cached_percent); explicit numbers override the pre
compare_modelsCompare 2-5 models on price and (optionally) on the monthly cost of one workload.
cheapest_models_forRank models by monthly cost for a workload. Use a preset (chatbot, rag, coding_agent, research_agent) or give token numbers.
We check information anyone can see; we have not read the code. Checks that do not apply are left out of the count. · Checked Nov 8, 2026

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

A free, read-only MCP server that lets AI assistants (Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients) answer: "What will this AI agent cost me per month?"
It uses the same price list and formula as agentcosthub.com. The price list covers 79 models and is checked daily.
https://agentcosthub.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in, no API key)com.agentcosthub/agent-cost-hubClaude (claude.ai: Pro, Max, Team) Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste https://agentcosthub.com/mcp → choose No sign-in.
Claude Desktop (claude_desktop_config.json; Desktop uses stdio, so it bridges with mcp-remote):
{ "mcpServers": { "agentcosthub": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://agentcosthub.com/mcp"] } } }
Cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json):
{ "mcpServers": { "agentcosthub": { "url": "https://agentcosthub.com/mcp" } } }
Then ask, for example: *"What's the cheapest model for a coding agent?"* or *"Compare Claude Sonnet 5.5 and GPT-5 for a RAG chatbot."*
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_models | Models with price per 1M input / output / cached tokens (filter by provider, search, popular) |
get_model_price | One model's prices plus example monthly agent costs |
estimate_cost | Monthly cost for one model, from a preset or your own numbers |
compare_models | 2–5 models side by side for one workload |
cheapest_models_for | Cheapest models for a preset or custom workload |
Presets
| Preset | Tokens in / out per call | Volume | Steps | Cached |
|---|---|---|---|---|
chatbot | 800 / 300 | 1,000 calls/day | 1 | 0% |
rag | 4,000 / 400 | 500 calls/day | 1 | 0% |
coding_agent | 20,000 / 1,500 | 50 tasks/day | 15 | 50% |
research_agent | 8,000 / 1,000 | 100 tasks/day | 10 | 50% |
Formula steps × (in × (1−cached%) × in_price + in × cached% × cached_price + out × out_price) ÷ 1M × calls/day × 30
The estimate uses list prices and leaves out cache-write fees. Every result includes prices_last_verified and a link to the matching agentcosthub.com page.
