Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Hash checks, catalog search, and field-bounty quotes for southwestern Ontario.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

  • Connection: Computer or cloud
  • Transport: stdio, Streamable HTTP
  • Category: Search & AI memory
  • You need to fill in: VERIFIED_REALITY_API_KEY, Authorization

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 3 of 3 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • Can do 5 things (tools) verify_media_hash, search_catalog, generate_license_quote, quote_field_bounty …
  • You fill in yourself: VERIFIED_REALITY_API_KEY, Authorization

Values marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.

You need

  • Runs in the cloudNothing to install; it connects over the internet
  • npmNode.js installed (for the npx command)

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Values you fill in

  • VERIFIED_REALITY_API_KEY secret env
Bearer API key from the client portal. Optional for hash checks; required for catalog, quotes, and bounty tools.
  • Authorization secret HTTP header
Bearer API key. Optional for verify_media_hash; required for catalog, quote, and bounty tools. Session cookies are not accepted.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 6, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • verify_media_hash

Re-check that a file's bytes still match Verified Reality's registry for a prior sealed reference (a media file inside a Truth Packet, a whole Truth Packet zip, or a certified audit PDF). No API key required. A match confirms the file's bytes only — not that the depicted scene wa

  • search_catalog

Search HQ-approved, opted-in Truth Packets available for commercial licensing. Requires a bearer API key (`Authorization: Bearer …` on the MCP HTTP request). An empty result means nothing currently matches the query, not that the location was checked and found clean.

  • generate_license_quote

Generate a dynamic broadcast or enterprise AI-logic licensing quote for a specific Exchange packet (find `packet_id` via search_catalog first). Requires a bearer API key.

  • quote_field_bounty

Quote a human field verification at a location. Requires a bearer API key. This only creates a quote — call dispatch_field_bounty with the returned quote_id to actually submit it. Active Verifier coverage today is southwestern Ontario; other cities are travel-dependent or registr

  • dispatch_field_bounty

Accept a quote_id from quote_field_bounty and submit it. This queues the bounty for HQ review (`pending_review`) — it is NEVER auto-dispatched to a human Verifier. Requires a bearer API key.

Common questions

Is Verified Reality safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

You need to fill in: VERIFIED_REALITY_API_KEY, Authorization

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

Either way works: install it on your computer or connect to the cloud version.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.1) reached the registry 5 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?
