Description from the maker (original English)
185 everyday utilities: text, PDF, image, audio and video tools, calculators and document drafts.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs on your computer. Your AI app starts it when needed, and data does not pass through the maker’s servers (unless it calls an online service itself).
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.1.0) reached the registry 2 days ago.

Let any LLM watch a video locally — and search everything it has ever watched.
Figma’s official server gives AI your design data so it can turn designs into code or describe them accurately. Connects to Figma’s cloud.

dailytoolkit is a small local bridge to the hosted FreeDailyPro MCP server, which offers 185 everyday utilities in one surface. Most calls work on data the caller supplies directly — a block of text, a document or media file encoded in the request, a pair of numbers to convert or compare — and return a finished result: counts, converted values, transformed files, or a draft document composed from the caller's own details.
The bridge keeps no data of its own. It serves the upstream server's tool list locally, exactly as captured from the live endpoint, and forwards each tool call upstream, returning the result untouched.

Defaults to https://api.freedailypro.com/mcp. (The override hook is this rebuild's own labelled reconstruction.)FREEDAILYPRO_API_KEY (optional) — when set, every upstream request carries an X-API-Key: header. When it is not set, no key header is sent. (This forwarding is also a labelled reconstruction; the original surface was captured keyless.)On the first tool call the client opens a streamable HTTP session with the upstream: a JSON-RPC initialize request (protocolVersion 2025-03-26, clientInfo name dailytoolkit), then a notifications/initialized notification, then the tools/call request carrying the caller's arguments unchanged. When the upstream answers initialize with an Mcp-Session-Id header, that value rides on every later request of the session, which is reused for the life of the process. Replies may arrive as plain JSON or as server-sent events; both are read.
Successful upstream results pass through verbatim, including any isError flag the upstream sets. Failures — a JSON-RPC error, a non-2xx status, an unreadable response, or a request that cannot be completed — come back as an isError result whose text starts with dailytoolkit error: (this rendering is this rebuild's own labelled reconstruction).
Each tool is also a subcommand taking one JSON argument string:
npx @reneturcios/dailytoolkit word_count '{"text":"a short piece of text"}'
npx @reneturcios/dailytoolkit calculate_bmi '{"weight":70,"height":175,"unit":"metric"}' npx @reneturcios/dailytoolkit convert_currency '{"amount":100,"from":"USD","to":"EUR"}' npx @reneturcios/dailytoolkit --version
Exit codes: 0 on success, 1 on an isError result, 2 on a usage error.
npx -y @reneturcios/dailytoolkit mcp
MCP client config:
{
"mcpServers": { "dailytoolkit": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@reneturcios/dailytoolkit", "mcp"] } } }
docker run -i ghcr.io/cloudcorprecords/dailytoolkit
docker run --rm ghcr.io/cloudcorprecords/dailytoolkit --version
The container's default command is mcp, so the first form is a stdio MCP server; any other arguments reach the CLI normally.
npm install
npm run build npm test npm run dev
The test suite runs entirely against a stubbed JSON-RPC upstream — no live network calls.
gen_forward.py is the one-off generator that produced the verbatim TOOL_DEFS literals in src/forward.ts from the captured fixture; it is kept for provenance and is not part of the runtime.
