Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Description from the maker (original English)
Read-only lookup of verified crypto wallet addresses for domains, .cns and ENS names.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

The server did not answer when we last checked, so we could not read its tools.
We check information anyone can see; we have not read the code. Checks that do not apply are left out of the count. · Checked Nov 7, 2026

Compared with every active server in this category in the registry. Stars count only when the publisher owns the repo.
It passed 1 of 2 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.0) reached the registry 15 days ago.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Read-only crypto name resolution for AI agents. Resolve a DNS domain (example.com), a native .cns name or an ENS name (.eth) to its owner, public profile and verified payment addresses on 28 networks. Agents pay the address the owner published on-chain instead of one copied from a web page, an email or a chat.
https://www.cnslookup.com/mcp2025-06-18, 2025-03-26, 2024-11-05Status: public beta. The registry runs on Robinhood Chain Testnet (chain ID 46630), so registrations have no monetary value yet. Mainnet is on the roadmap.
This repository holds the connection details, the registry manifest (server.json) and the JavaScript SDK. The server itself is hosted; there is nothing to install or run.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http web3-dns https://www.cnslookup.com/mcp
Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code and other MCP clients
Add this to the client's MCP configuration:
{
"mcpServers": { "web3-dns": { "type": "http", "url": "https://www.cnslookup.com/mcp" } } }
More client examples are in [`examples/`](examples/).
Test it with curl
curl -s https://www.cnslookup.com/mcp -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'
Every tool is read-only: readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false, idempotentHint: true. No tool can sign, register, edit or transfer anything, or move funds.
| Tool | Input | Returns |
|---|---|---|
resolve_name | name: domain, .cns or ENS name | Owner, expiry, public profile (display name, description, avatar, links), X badge and every verified payment address. Profile text is flagged as untrusted. |
get_payment_address | to: name or 0x address; network (optional): code from list_networks, such as ETH, BASE, SOL, BTC | The address a payment reaches on that network, read fresh from verified on-chain records. Call this right before paying. |
reverse_lookup | address: EVM address | The primary Web3 DNS name set for that address, or null. |
check_name | name | Whether the name is registered, with its owner and expiry. "Not registered" does not mean a DNS domain is for sale. |
list_networks | none | Supported payment networks with codes, chain IDs and symbols, and the registry's home network. |
get_payment_address with that to and network.The server also protects agents in two ways:
get_payment_address results.ETH, BASE, ARB, OP, POL, BNB, AVAX, LINEA, ZKSYNC, SCROLL, GNOSIS, CELO, RHC, BTC, SOL, TRX, LTC, DOGE, BCH, XRP, TON, ADA, DOT, ATOM, XLM, NEAR, SUI, APT, plus testnets. Call list_networks for the current list.
The same data is available without MCP:
https://www.cnslookup.com/api/v1. The OpenAPI 3.1 spec documents every route. curl "https://www.cnslookup.com/api/v1/payee?to=example.com&network=BASE"
curl "https://www.cnslookup.com/api/v1/resolve/batch?names=test.cns,example.com" # up to 20 names at once
- **JavaScript SDK:** [`sdk/web3-dns.mjs`](sdk/web3-dns.mjs), an ES module with no dependencies, with types in [`sdk/web3-dns.d.ts`](sdk/web3-dns.d.ts). It is also served at `https://www.cnslookup.com/sdk/web3-dns.mjs`.
import {Web3DNS} from './sdk/web3-dns.mjs';
const dns = new Web3DNS({baseUrl: 'https://www.cnslookup.com'}); const payee = await dns.payee('example.com', 'BASE'); const {results} = await dns.resolveMany(['test.cns', 'example.com']);
Let people pay your name from a website, a README or a bio. The button opens a pay page that reads the verified address from the on-chain record right before each payment.

test.cns is a demo name on the testnet registry. Make a button for your own name, with the "Tip me" or "Donate" text and a light or dark style, at https://www.cnslookup.com/tools/pay-button.
server.json is the manifest for the official MCP Registry. Its registry name is com.cnslookup/web3-dns.
