Manage your ConnectMachine contacts, networks, events, and digital business cards.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.8) reached the registry 3 months ago.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

The server is hosted. There is nothing to install or run yourself, and this repository holds only the registry manifest and documentation.
| Endpoint | https://mcp.connectmachine.ai/mcp |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP |
| Auth | OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration and PKCE |
| Account | Any ConnectMachine account |
Your client discovers the OAuth settings on its own, so you never paste a token. The first time a tool runs, it opens the ConnectMachine sign-in page. Sign in with your email (one-time code) or Google, approve, and the tools are ready.
Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile)
Open ConnectMachine in the Claude directory and select Connect.
Or add it yourself under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector with the endpoint above.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http connectmachine https://mcp.connectmachine.ai/mcp
Then run /mcp in Claude Code and pick connectmachine to sign in.
ChatGPT
Open ConnectMachine in ChatGPT and select Connect.
Cursor
Use the Install in Cursor button above, install the ConnectMachine plugin, or add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": { "connectmachine": { "url": "https://mcp.connectmachine.ai/mcp" } } }
VS Code and GitHub Copilot
Use the Install in VS Code button above, or add this to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": { "connectmachine": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.connectmachine.ai/mcp" } } }
Cline
Add this to cline_mcp_settings.json (MCP Servers → Configure → Configure MCP Servers):
{
"mcpServers": { "connectmachine": { "type": "streamableHttp", "url": "https://mcp.connectmachine.ai/mcp" } } }
[!IMPORTANT]
Set
typetostreamableHttpexactly. Without it Cline falls back to SSE and the server answers405. See llms-install.md for steps an agent can follow.
Gemini CLI
gemini extensions install https://github.com/connectmachine/mcp-server
Then run /mcp auth connectmachine inside Gemini CLI to sign in.
Any other client (static key instead of OAuth)
If your client can't run the OAuth flow, sign in at https://licenses.connectmachine.ai/mcp/auth to get a personal MCP key. Send it as an Authorization: Bearer header on the server entry. Keys don't expire.
