Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Airport security wait times, forecasts, FAA delays, EES border queues and baggage stats.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 1 of 1 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • The registry lists no key to fill in.

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Add2https://…3
https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http flightqueue https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "flightqueue": {
      "url": "https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "flightqueue": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Create2https://…3
https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp

Menu names can differ slightly by plan and over time.

Your choice stays on this device in a cookie; no account needed.

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

Common questions

Is FlightQueue safe?

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.0) reached the registry 2 months ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

Flight Queue

Airport intelligence for AI assistants. A hosted, remote MCP server at mcp.flightqueue.com covering security wait times and forecasts, FAA delays, EU Entry/Exit System border queues, lounges, terminals, aviation weather, and airline baggage performance for 8,000+ airports.

Nothing to install. Point any MCP-compatible client at the hosted URL.

Quick setup

Claude Code — run these three commands, one at a time:

/plugin marketplace add Flight-Queue/mcp

/plugin install flightqueue@flightqueue /flightqueue:setup

Your assistant connects to FlightQueue, signs you in over OAuth, asks for your home airport and shows live waits and delays.

Claude.ai and ChatGPT — add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp, sign in when asked, then ask it to set up FlightQueue.

Codex, Cursor and other clients, or any agent without plugins — add the MCP server (see below), then send this prompt:

Read https://flightqueue.com/setup.md and follow it to set up FlightQueue for me.

Add it to your assistant

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http flightqueue https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp

Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf

{

"mcpServers": { "flightqueue": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp"] } } }

Claude.ai and ChatGPT — add a custom connector pointing at https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp.

Grok Build — install the flightqueue plugin from the xAI plugin marketplace.

Full per-client instructions: mcp.flightqueue.com

Sign-in

OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your client runs the flow on first use and you sign in with a Flight Queue account. There is no anonymous access and no API-key header.

A free account reaches 19 of the 22 tools. A premium plan unlocks forecasts, history and the live feed.

Tools

Free, with any signed-in account:

get_live_wait_timeReal-time scrape from 69+ airports

Every tool is annotated. The two that write (submit_wait_time_report, create_wait_time_alert) are marked non-destructive: they add a report or an alert and delete nothing.

Skills

The skills/ folder has agent skills that tell an assistant which tools to call, in which order, for common travel questions. Claude Code and Codex load them with the plugin.

SkillUse it for
flightqueue-setupFirst-time setup: confirm the connection, learn the home airport, show a live snapshot, offer an alert
flightqueue-trip-dayWhen to leave for the airport: best arrival time, queue, delays, weather, terminal, lounge
flightqueue-ees-schengenEES border queues now and in 24h, and the Schengen 90/180-day check
flightqueue-compare-airportsWhich airport to fly from: waits, delays and weekly patterns side by side
flightqueue-baggageCarry-on and checked-bag rules, and which airlines lose the fewest bags
flightqueue-crowd-reportsRead traveller wait reports, and share a wait only with the user's consent

Ask it things like

  • "What is the security wait at JFK right now?"
  • "I have an 8am flight from ORD tomorrow, when should I arrive?"
  • "Are there any FAA ground stops today?"
  • "How long is the EES border queue at Lisbon?"
  • "Which airline loses the fewest checked bags?"
