Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Find licensed real estate agents, search MLS, route leads. Remote MCP for SC + GA brokerages.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

  • Connection: Runs in the cloud
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Category: Travel, maps & weather
  • You need to fill in: Authorization

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 1 of 1 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • You fill in yourself: Authorization

Values marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

This address needs a key in a request header, which the add-connector menu cannot set. Use Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code instead.

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http scout https://scout.realestate/api/mcp --header 'Authorization: your-value'

Fill in the empty values before running it.

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "scout": {
      "url": "https://scout.realestate/api/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "your-value"
      }
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "scout": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://scout.realestate/api/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "your-value"
      }
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Your choice stays on this device in a cookie; no account needed.

Values you fill in

  • Authorization secret HTTP header
    Bearer token for authenticated tools (scout.route_lead, scout.get_seller_signals). Anonymous access works without this header for scout.coverage, scout.search_listings, and scout.find_agent. Request…

Common questions

Is Scout safe?

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

You need to fill in: Authorization

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.1.0) reached the registry 7 months ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

Scout MCP

Real estate agent directory + tools for AI assistants. A product of Flika Realty LLC.

Scout publishes a public Model Context Protocol server that any Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or custom AI agent can call to:

  • Look up Scout-registered real estate agents by geography
  • Search active MLS listings in SC and GA
  • Submit a buyer or seller lead and route it to a licensed agent
  • Subscribe to proprietary seller-intent signals (probate, NOD, FSBO)

Scout is operated by Flika Realty LLC, a dual-state real estate brokerage licensed in South Carolina and Georgia (SC License #135886).

Live endpoint

https://scout.realestate/api/mcp
  • Transport: HTTP / JSON-RPC 2.0
  • MCP protocol version: 2025-03-26
  • Status: v0.1 (public beta)

Tools

ToolAuthDescription
scout.coverageanonWhere Scout covers natively (SC, GA) + states with signed referral partners
scout.search_listingsanonMLS listings by city, ZIP, price, beds
scout.find_agentanonScout-pin agents live in a territory (60-min freshness window, license-verified only)
scout.route_leadAPI keySubmit a buyer/seller lead; routes to Flika agent or partner brokerage
scout.get_seller_signalsAPI keyProbate / NOD / distressed-property feed (SC + GA, admin-approved)

Install in Claude Desktop

Add to ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json (macOS) or the equivalent path on Windows/Linux:

{

"mcpServers": { "scout": { "url": "https://scout.realestate/api/mcp", "transport": "http", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer flika_live_YOUR_KEY_HERE" } } } }

Anonymous read tools (coverage, search_listings, find_agent) work without the Authorization header. Write tools (route_lead, get_seller_signals) require a Scout API key.

Request an API key

Email spencer@flikah.com with your brokerage or use-case and we'll issue a key. Comped for individual agents; standard terms for brokerages (see Referral terms below).

Quick test — no install required

curl https://scout.realestate/api/mcp \

-H 'content-type: application/json' \ -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call", "params":{"name":"scout.coverage","arguments":{}}}'

Referral terms

For scout.route_lead:

  • Buyer-side: 30% of the receiving agent's commission
  • Listing-side: 25% of the receiving agent's commission
  • Tail: 18 months from first introduction
  • Payment: net-30 after funded close

Agent verification

Every Scout-listed agent is license-verified before their pin becomes discoverable via scout.find_agent. Verification checks the state real estate commission's public licensee record (SC: LLR; GA: REC) and uses Claude-powered fuzzy name matching. A pin only surfaces in search results if the agent's license is currently active.

Rate limits

  • Anonymous: 30 requests / minute / IP
  • Keyed: 300 requests / minute / key
  • route_lead writes: 20 / day / key (adjustable for signed partners)
