Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Greek public procurement: tenders, awards, contracts, payments, suppliers, expiring contracts.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

  • Connection: Runs in the cloud
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Category: Other
  • You need to fill in: Authorization

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

Values marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

This address needs a key in a request header, which the add-connector menu cannot set. Use Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code instead.

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http procurement https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp --header 'Authorization: your-value'

Fill in the empty values before running it.

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "procurement": {
      "url": "https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "your-value"
      }
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 7, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • search_tenders

    Search Greek public-procurement acts across THREE cross-linked sources — Διαύγεια, ΚΗΜΔΗΣ (Central Electronic Public Procurement Registry) and EU TED. Filter by source (diavgeia|kimdis|ted), lifecycle status (request|tender|award|contract|payment), buyer or supplier ΑΦΜ (9-digit

  • expiring_contracts

    Greek public contracts that are RUNNING NOW and expire within a horizon of 0, 7, 30 or 180 days — the renewal pipeline. Each row carries who currently holds the contract and HOW it was awarded (direct award vs competitive tender, and the number of bids where the source reports it

  • get_act

    Full detail of one act by its id (Διαύγεια ΑΔΑ, ΚΗΜΔΗΣ 'kimdis:<ΑΔΑΜ>', or TED 'ted: '): canonical fields, resolved buyer/supplier entities, CPV codes with labels, and its cross-source lifecycle chain if linked. On ΚΗΜΔΗΣ contracts, `commitment_ada` carries the Διαύγεια ΑΔΑ of th

  • get_entity

    Profile of a legal entity (company or public body) by 9-digit ΑΦΜ: name, role, and spend/receipt statistics as buyer and as supplier. EUR totals = the COMMITTED procurement value counted ONCE per procurement (deduplicated across ΚΗΜΔΗΣ/Διαύγεια sources and the award→contract→paym

  • get_chain

    A reconstructed procurement lifecycle chain by chain_id: the linked sequence of related acts (e.g. commitment → award → contract → payments) with confidence and link method. Get a chain_id from the chain_id field of any act. A chain is ONE procurement's lifecycle, not everything

  • rank_entities

    Rank top Greek public-procurement entities. role=buyer (default) or supplier; by=spend (default — COMMITTED procurement value in EUR, counted ONCE per procurement: deduplicated across sources and lifecycle stages, tenders excluded), single_bidder (count of ≤1-bid awards/contracts

  • spend_by_cpv

    Committed public procurement value by CPV category (2-digit division), optionally for one year. Value = counted ONCE per procurement (deduplicated across sources and award/contract/payment stages; tenders excluded). Answers 'what does the Greek state spend the most on'. Returns c

  • find_entity

    Resolve a Greek buyer or supplier NAME to its ΑΦΜ. For when you have a name but no ΑΦΜ: get_entity, entity_counterparties and the buyer_afm/supplier_afm filters take the 9-digit number. Matching is accent- and case-insensitive; returns the closest names with their ΑΦΜ.

  • get_quota

    What your Diavgis plan allows right now (the same for an API key and a connected account): plan, calls used this period, calls remaining, per-minute rate, page-size and pagination caps, and when the period resets. Free — this call is not counted against the quota. Useful for sizi

  • entity_counterparties

    Top counterparties of an entity (ΑΦΜ): for a buyer, the suppliers it pays most; for a supplier, its top public buyers — with act counts and EUR totals. The 'who does business with whom' due-diligence view.

Common questions

Is Diavgis — Greek Public Procurement safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

You need to fill in: Authorization

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.5.0) reached the registry 9 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Diavgis MCP Server

Greek public procurement, queryable by AI agents.

2.18M acts · 88k entities · 255k chains · tenders, awards, contracts and payments linked into one process.

diavgis.gr · OCDS 1.1 API · llms.txt

What this is

A remote Model Context Protocol server that lets an AI agent query Greek public-procurement records directly — no scraping, no PDF parsing, no local setup.

The data comes from three official sources, cross-linked:

SourceWhat it is
Διαύγεια (Diavgeia)the Greek state transparency portal — every public decision must be published there
ΚΗΜΔΗΣ (KIMDIS)the central electronic registry of public contracts
TEDTenders Electronic Daily, the EU-wide procurement journal

Records that belong to the same procurement are joined into a chain, so a tender, the award that followed it, the signed contract and the payments made against it can be read as one story rather than four unrelated documents. That linkage is the reason this server exists.

Endpoint

https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp

Streamable HTTP. Supported protocol revisions: 2026-07-28, 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26, 2024-11-05.

Health check: https://mcp.diavgis.gr/health

Quick start

Add to your MCP client configuration:

{

"mcpServers": { "diavgis": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp" } } }

Listing the tools needs no sign-in. When a tool is first called, your MCP client opens the Diavgis sign-in page (OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE) and you approve access with a free Diavgis account. Calls count against that account's plan. You can revoke access at any time from https://diavgis.gr/account (Connected apps).

Alternatively, send an API key as a bearer token. Keys and their limits are at https://diavgis.gr/pricing.

"mcpServers": { "diavgis": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" } } } }

Tools

ToolWhat it answers
find_entityResolve a buyer or supplier name to its ΑΦΜ — the first call when you only have a name
search_tendersSearch acts across all three sources — by text, buyer, supplier, CPV, region, amount, date
expiring_contractsContracts running now that expire within 0, 7, 30 or 180 days
get_actFull detail of one act by Διαύγεια ΑΔΑ or ΚΗΜΔΗΣ ΑΔΑΜ, including the contractor discount (official from the document, or calculated)
get_entityProfile of a company or public body by 9-digit ΑΦΜ — name, role, spend/receipts
get_chainA reconstructed procurement lifecycle: the linked sequence tender → award → contract → payment
rank_entitiesTop buyers or suppliers, by spend or by count
spend_by_cpvCommitted value by CPV division, optionally for one year
entity_counterpartiesWho an entity actually transacts with — a buyer's top suppliers, or the reverse
get_quotaYour plan, calls used and remaining, and the rate limits — free, not counted against the quota

The authoritative list is always the server itself:

curl -s https://mcp.diavgis.gr/mcp \

-H 'content-type: application/json' \ -H 'MCP-Protocol-Version: 2026-07-28' \ -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'

Other ways in

The same data is available without MCP:

Notes on the data

  • Counterparties that are natural persons are redacted at source under EU and Greek data-protection law, and carry no supplier identity.
  • Greek sources publish well after the issue date. The OCDS endpoint states its own settled-through date; treat anything more recent as still filling.
  • Amounts use a gross basis where the source publishes only one VAT-inclusive figure. The OCDS endpoint documents this per field.
