Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Description from the maker (original English)
Compliance-filtered crypto exchange fee comparison and rebate-link routing for AI agents.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

It passed 2 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Read-only MCP server and CLI for crypto exchange trading fees, referral discounts and country availability.
Give your AI agent the published trading fees of Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, Hyperliquid, Aster and the other platforms CoinRebate covers, the fee after CoinRebate's referral discount (for new accounts only; the rate varies by platform and each platform's rules decide eligibility), and the country records CoinRebate keeps for each platform. No API key, no account.
Other crypto MCP servers (CCXT, exchange-specific ones) give you market data. CoinRebate gives your agent each covered platform's published fees, the cost after the referral discount, and CoinRebate's signup link — plus the referral code when the user's country is known.
CoinRebate takes part in the affiliate or referral programs of the platforms it lists and is not any of them. If a user signs up through CoinRebate's links, CoinRebate may earn a commission at no extra cost to the user. Every answer that carries a signup link or referral code says so next to it; only that link or code is marketing material. The discount applies only to a new account registered through the link, under that platform's own rules, and may not apply at higher VIP levels or to futures trading after a certain period.
What it is not:
Add to claude_desktop_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": { "coinrebate": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@coinrebate/mcp-server"] } } }
Same npx -y @coinrebate/mcp-server command (stdio transport).
from langchain_mcp_adapters import MCPClient
client = MCPClient(command="npx", args=["-y", "@coinrebate/mcp-server"])
The hosted endpoint https://www.coinrebate.vip/api/mcp (streamable HTTP) serves the same tools without installing anything.
npx -y @coinrebate/mcp-server --version prints the installed version (2.5.2).npx -y @coinrebate/mcp-server fees binance prints Binance's spot and futures fees before and after the discount. If it fails, check that the machine can reach https://www.coinrebate.vip (or the COINREBATE_API_URL you set).get_exchange_fees. To call the tools by hand instead, run npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector npx -y @coinrebate/mcp-server.Each call only reads data; nothing is created, changed or sent to an exchange.

Human-readable output is the default; add --json for scripts and agents.
npm i -g @coinrebate/mcp-server
coinrebate fees binance coinrebate compare --purpose spot --country BR coinrebate referral bybit --country BR coinrebate cost binance --volume 100000 --type spot coinrebate compliant --country US --purpose spot
Run coinrebate --help for command-specific usage. The existing npx -y @coinrebate/mcp-server command still starts the stdio MCP server.

check_referral_link | Checks whether a URL carries CoinRebate's own current referral code (allowlisted exchange hosts only). This is a self-check for CoinRebate links: a link carrying someone else's code is reported as stale_code even though it may be perfectly valid. For a neutral inspection of any exchange link, use inspect_exchange_link. |
search_guides | Searches CoinRebate's published guides by keyword (any language) and returns matching articles with title, one-line description and URL. Read-only; results are informational articles, not referral links. |
inspect_exchange_link | Inspects an exchange sign-up or referral link and reports evidence on five separate points: whether the domain is a verified official domain of a listed exchange, whether it is reachable, whose referral code it carries, how CoinRebate's records list the exchange for a given country, and what rebate (if any) is configured. Unknown items are reported as unknown. It never says a link is safe, never probes unrecognized domains, and never suggests a replacement link. Read-only. |

recommend_fee_option— instead of a table it returns
a single verdict ("the lowest effective fee for a user in is X"), together with the
assumptions behind it and what is deliberately not modelled, and abstains when the upstream data
is unreliable or the top venues are genuinely tied. It is exposed only through the remote
MCP endpoint
https://www.coinrebate.vip/api/mcp, which needs no install.
The hosted endpoint exposes all twelve tools. The npm package exposes the eleven tools in the table.
The package includes skills/coinrebate-fees/SKILL.md with concise connection, tool-selection, data-basis, and safety instructions for compatible agent runtimes.
What leaves your machine. Each tool call goes to CoinRebate's REST API (https://www.coinrebate.vip, or COINREBATE_API_URL if you set it) with that call's parameters — exchange, country, product type, volume, the URL to check or the search phrase — and two headers naming the tool and the package version. The package sends no account, key, cookie or conversation content, and writes nothing to disk.
What CoinRebate records. For each call: the hour (UTC), the tool, whether it was answered, a response-time bracket, coarse parameters (country code, product type, exchange, and a volume bracket instead of the exact amount), the request country reported by our CDN, whether the caller looks like a browser or a bot, and a source identifier calculated from the IP address with a random value replaced every day, so calls cannot be linked across days. For guide searches, the phrase after removing emails, links, wallet addresses, handles and long numbers; for links on domains we do not recognise, only the domain. These per-call records are deleted after 30 days; daily totals are kept for 180 days. The IP address is used in memory for rate limiting and is not written to these records; the web server's standard access logs (about 15 days) do record it. Full policy: https://www.coinrebate.vip/en/legal
Regions. Each platform restricts some countries, and CoinRebate keeps those records per platform. Pass the user's country (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2) and the tools leave out platforms restricted there. Without a country, answers give the signup link but not the referral code; with a country, a code is given only where it may be offered there. Signup links go through https://www.coinrebate.vip/go/…, which checks the region of whoever opens the link and returns HTTP 451 where the platform is restricted; the website and its signup links are also unavailable in mainland China, South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. Being on a country's list does not mean a particular person can open an account — each platform's own terms and checks decide.
The tools read CoinRebate's public REST API at call time. Fee, rebate and compliance data come from data/exchanges/*.json: fees are the benchmark rates in CoinRebate's published fee table, each with the date its entry was last updated. The data_source / fetched_at fields describe an automated CCXT refresh check, not a verification date. This is a 2026-launched platform in its growth phase, and we're upfront about that.
2.5.2 — Maintenance release: it only brings the package build in line with the current source and corrects how the package describes itself; tool names, descriptions and parameters are unchanged. Version 2.5.1 shipped an older build (its news tool still read the news page that stopped updating on 2026-08-06); 2.5.2 is built from the current source and reads the latest-articles endpoint. Answers that carry a signup link or referral code now include the affiliate disclosure, answers that state a referral discount add the VIP / futures-period caveat, a referral code is shown only when the user's country is given, and an unknown country or exchange comes back as the API's own error (for example invalid_country).
