Description from the maker (original English)
Search for products and get detailed product information from Amazon across multiple regional sites.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs on your computer. Your AI app starts it when needed, and data does not pass through the maker’s servers (unless it calls an online service itself).
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.1) reached the registry 13 days ago.

An MCP server for searching and getting product details from Amazon. Supports 22 regional Amazon sites, extracts prices, ratings, features, availability, and product variants. Uses a headless Chrome browser to render pages and handle Amazon's anti-bot protections. Communicates over stdio and works with any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Desktop or Claude Code.
On Linux, avoid snap-packaged Chromium (Ubuntu's default chromium package). It is known to hang indefinitely — both on graceful CDP tab-close and on OS-level process reaping after a forced kill — when launched as a descendant of certain parent processes (observed running under Claude Desktop's Electron process tree). The hang was 100% reproducible under that setup and never reproduced with the same code against a non-snap Chrome/Chromium build. Install Google Chrome or a non-snap Chromium build instead, and point CHROME_EXEC_PATH at it if it isn't picked up automatically.
| Variable | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
AMAZON_REGION | No | Default Amazon region (default: us). Can be overridden per request. |
CHROME_EXEC_PATH | No | Path to the Chrome/Chromium binary to launch. Leave unset to use automatic detection. See the note above about snap-packaged Chromium on Linux. |
Requires Go 1.27.3+.
go install github.com/jbeshir/mcp-servers/amazon-products/cmd/amazon-products-mcp@latest
The Docker image bundles a headless Chrome shell, so no local Chrome installation is needed.
docker build -t amazon-products-mcp ./amazon-products
docker run -e AMAZON_REGION=us amazon-products-mcp
Add to your Claude Desktop configuration (claude_desktop_config.json):
{
"mcpServers": { "amazon-products": { "command": "/path/to/amazon-products-mcp", "env": { "AMAZON_REGION": "us" } } } }
claude mcp add amazon-products -- env AMAZON_REGION=us /path/to/amazon-products-mcp

AMAZON_REGION from the environment, creates the shared browser instance and MCP server, and starts the stdio transport.Datasource builds Amazon URLs for a given region and parses returned HTML into structured data. Browser manages a shared headless Chrome instance, handles WAF challenges/retries, and waits for page rendering to complete.sequenceDiagram

Each request runs in its own browser tab for concurrency safety. The browser waits for either a specific CSS selector (#productTitle for product pages) or DOM stability (body content unchanged for 2 consecutive polls at 500ms intervals) before capturing HTML.
