Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Description from the maker (original English)
Works in any MCP agent, including local models. Read-only bank accounts, spending, investments.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Works in any MCP agent, including local models. BankBridge is a remote MCP server that lets Hermes, OpenClaw, Open WebUI, Goose, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents read your bank accounts, credit cards and investments. Ask "how much did I spend on restaurants last month?" or "what subscriptions am I paying for?" and the answer comes from your own accounts. Read-only, US banks, $5 a month per connected bank.
Install in Claude Code: /plugin install bankbridge --marketplace bankbridge-money/bankbridge-plugin (Claude Code 2.1.275 or later; on older versions run /plugin marketplace add bankbridge-money/bankbridge-plugin first, then /plugin install bankbridge).
Works with: any MCP client that can reach a Streamable HTTP server, with a local model or a hosted one. That covers Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Open WebUI, Goose, LM Studio, opencode, Cline, Continue, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, Codex and Gemini CLI.
More to ask: *"find any subscriptions I've forgotten about"*, *"draft a budget from my actual last 3 months"*, *"am I making more than I spend?"* One account covers every bank you connect.
Point your agent at https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp. Clients with MCP OAuth sign in through your browser. Clients without it send Authorization: Bearer bbk_... with a key from your dashboard. Pick a model with reliable tool calling.
With a local model, the conversation stays on your machine. The numbers still pass through the bank-data provider and BankBridge, which keeps no copy.
Hermes Agent. Install the package, enable it, then add the server to your profile's config so Hermes can run the sign-in:
hermes plugins install bankbridge-money/bankbridge-plugin --no-enable
hermes plugins enable bankbridge
mcp_servers:
bankbridge: url: https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp auth: oauth
hermes mcp login bankbridge
The package holds a skill and the server URL, with no executable code and no stored credentials. Hermes keeps the sign-in token. Every BankBridge tool is read-only.
Other agents: step-by-step guides for Goose, LM Studio, OpenClaw, opencode, Cline, Continue and Zed. All guides: bankbridge.money/docs.
BankBridge is in the Claude Connectors Directory. Open the listing, click Connect, sign in to BankBridge. No key to paste. Connectors sync across every Claude app, and Claude Code picks them up too.
/plugin marketplace add bankbridge-money/bankbridge-plugin
/plugin install bankbridge
The first time a command runs, run /mcp and sign in to BankBridge in your browser. No key to paste. (Before version 0.4.0 the plugin asked for an API token; it now signs in the same way as the Claude connector.)
The same plugin is listed for claude.ai chat and Cowork, where the 19 commands load as skills and the server is connected from the plugin's Connectors tab.
Prefer no plugin and no key? One command, then /mcp to sign in through your browser:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http bankbridge https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp
Use the Add to Cursor or Install in VS Code badge above. The editor asks you to confirm, then opens the BankBridge sign-in page in your browser. No key to paste.
gemini mcp add --scope user --transport http bankbridge https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp
codex mcp add bankbridge --url https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp
Both discover BankBridge’s OAuth sign-in automatically (Gemini: run /mcp auth bankbridge; Codex opens the browser on its own).
Server URL: https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Auth: OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration, or Authorization: Bearer bbk_... with a key from your dashboard. Step-by-step guides for each agent: bankbridge.money/docs.
You’ll need:
npx skills add bankbridge-money/bankbridge-plugin # this project (asks which agents)
npx skills add bankbridge-money/bankbridge-plugin -g # user-level, every project
Where the skill lands (to install by hand, copy skills/bankbridge/ there):
| Agent | Project folder | User folder (-g) |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | .claude/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.claude/skills/bankbridge/ |
| Codex | .agents/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.codex/skills/bankbridge/ |
| Cursor | .agents/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.cursor/skills/bankbridge/ |
| GitHub Copilot | .agents/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.copilot/skills/bankbridge/ |
| Gemini CLI | .agents/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.gemini/skills/bankbridge/ |
| OpenCode | .agents/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.config/opencode/skills/bankbridge/ |
| Cline | .agents/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.agents/skills/bankbridge/ |
| Windsurf | .windsurf/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.codeium/windsurf/skills/bankbridge/ |
| Goose | .goose/skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.config/goose/skills/bankbridge/ |
| OpenClaw | skills/bankbridge/ | ~/.openclaw/skills/bankbridge/ |
The skill tells your agent when and how to use BankBridge; the MCP server does the work, so connect that too (see Install above).
Type / in any Claude Code session to find them. Each wraps a multi-step flow with an opinionated output shape, so you don’t have to hand-craft the prompt.
Also in Claude iOS / Android / Desktop / Cowork. The same 19 commands are exposed as MCP prompts, so they appear under the + button in the chat input bar. One tap fills the full prompt. In Cursor, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients, they show up in whatever prompt-picker UI that client provides.

Claude Code picks the right MCP tools automatically when you ask in plain English. Copy any of these:
Every-day check-ins
How much did I spend this week?
List my last 20 transactions over $50.
What's my current cashflow this month?
Spending analysis
Break down my March spending by category, biggest first. Show as a markdown table.
Who are my top 10 merchants by spend in the last 90 days?
Compare my restaurant spending in March vs January 2026. Am I trending up?
Subscription audits
List every recurring charge I have. Which ones are the smallest? Can I cancel any?
Has any subscription raised its price in the last 12 months?
Investments
Show my current holdings sorted by gain/loss with percentages.
How much have I received in dividends this year?
What percentage of my portfolio is in my single biggest position?
Visualizations (agents with code execution)
Make a bar chart of my monthly cashflow for the last 6 months. Save as cashflow.png.
Export my March transactions to CSV.
Build me a one-page markdown report for last month.
Detective work
Find any transactions that look unusual or duplicated this month.
Which 5 merchants have I spent the most on this year?
Find recurring charges under $20/mo that I might have forgotten about.
Claude Code picks these automatically based on your question. You never have to name them, but here’s what’s available:
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
list_accounts | All connected bank accounts with current balances |
get_account | Detail lookup for one account by id |
list_transactions | Filter by date range, amount, category, account, pending flag |
search_transactions | Substring match on merchant name + description |
get_spending_summary | Group spending by category / merchant / month / week |
| get_recurring_charges
