PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 7, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • report_agent_bug

Record a minimal technical PodPitch failure without an account. Report concrete tool failures once. Exclude credentials, personal data, pitches and conversations. Respect client approval. Returns a persisted report ID.

  • search_podcasts

Find active podcasts by topic or name. No account needed. Returns public show information and listening links, never contact addresses.

  • get_podcast_details

Read public details for a podcast from search. No account or contact addresses.

  • get_connected_account

Return the account represented by this connection, with a stable opaque profile ID and display email.

  • create_podcast_campaign

Create a podcast campaign in Off mode using a team profile and connected senders. Existing plan and first-campaign setup checks apply.

  • get_campaign

Read your team's campaign and its settings.

  • update_campaign

Update campaign name, writing, follow-up, and tracking settings. Scheduling uses schedule_campaign.

  • list_profiles

    List your team's profiles.

  • create_profile

Create a profile for your team. PodPitch rewrites the bio with web research before saving, which can take a few minutes, so don't retry while it runs. The result's web_enhanced_bio says whether it did. If the web has nothing on them, the bio stays as passed.

Common questions

Is PodPitch safe?

It passed 2 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.0) reached the registry 17 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

PodPitch plugins

Find podcasts that fit your expertise, audience, or story through ChatGPT, Claude, and MCP agents. Public discovery works without a PodPitch account and never returns contact email addresses.

Existing customers can connect their PodPitch account in the browser to manage campaigns, drafts, inbox replies, templates, and outreach. Existing team permissions, subscription rules, and pitch limits apply. The agent feedback tool records reproducible bugs for PodPitch's engineering team.

Directory review and publication are separate from these installation files. A package in this repository does not mean its directory listing has been approved.

Claude first-use catalog

The Claude skill includes a dated subset of 5,848 public catalog records for hosts that cannot reach PodPitch's live discovery endpoint. Version 1.0.4 stores them in 34 JSON files, each under 128 KB, with a catalog index and a standard-library Python helper. Search, exact show details, audience estimates and the demo link are available together without connector setup when the host can execute or read the bundled files. Host permissions still apply.

The sharded package was executed in native Claude without connectors or network access on October 6, 2026. The index and unique record count matched, topic and category searches returned shows, and details matched the returned ID. All records match the preceding snapshot. Eighteen subprocess tests cover both catalog layouts. This verifies package compatibility; directory approval and a fresh published installation remain separate release checks.
