It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

Live dashboard: [https://crypto-market-data.modelcontextprotocol.name/](https://crypto-market-data.modelcontextprotocol.name/)
Live cryptocurrency and DeFi market dashboard with data from CoinGecko and DeFiLlama.
Cryptocurrency prices and market data. That's it! With a basic UI. I originally built this within Lyra Web3 Playground and I thought it might be helpful for those looking for something very simple, a good learning experience to build + deploy, or maybe you're like me and just enjoy building and sharing simple yet useful creations. Live data, hooked up to CoinGecko and Defillama.
# Install dependencies
npm install
npm run dev
npm run build
The dashboard is a static Vite build hosted on Cloudflare Pages (project crypto-market-data) at https://crypto-market-data.modelcontextprotocol.name.
.github/workflows/deploy.yml builds and deploys on every push to main. It needs the CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN and CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID repository secrets. To deploy by hand with those variables exported:
npm ci && npm run build
npx wrangler@4 pages deploy dist --project-name=crypto-market-data --branch=main
public/_headers sets the security headers and long-lived caching for /assets/*. Cloudflare Pages serves index.html for unknown paths, so client-side routes work without a 404.html. To host under a sub-path, set BASE_PATH (for example BASE_PATH=/crypto-market-data/) before building.
Verify:
curl -sI https://crypto-market-data.modelcontextprotocol.name/ | head -1 # HTTP/2 200
This repo also bundles a Model Context Protocol server in mcp-server/ that exposes the same CoinGecko and DeFiLlama data to AI assistants (Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP clients): live prices, OHLCV candles, trending coins, coin search, DeFi protocol/chain TVL, yields, and stablecoin supplies.
See mcp-server/README.md for the full tool list, build instructions, and client configuration.
