Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Polymarket MCP — prediction-market data via Gamma + CLOB + Data public APIs.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

  • Connection: Computer or cloud
  • Transport: stdio, Streamable HTTP
  • Category: Crypto & blockchain
  • You need to fill in: PIPEWORX_API_KEY

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

Values marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.

You need

  • Runs in the cloudNothing to install; it connects over the internet
  • npmNode.js installed (for the npx command)

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 6, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • ask_pipeworx_beta

    Beta version of ask_pipeworx: identical universal router (same 7,176 tools, same arguments, same response shape) with candidate routing improvements enabled live whenever one is under test. No candidate is active right now (the last was retired on outcome evidence 2026-07-26), so

  • ask_pipeworx_grounded

    Hallucination-resistant answer mode for high-stakes reads. Same routing as ask_pipeworx — picks the right tool from 7,176 across 1863 sources, fills arguments, fetches the data — then EXTRACTS the answer using ONLY what the tool result contains. Returns {answer, evidence (verbati

  • discover_tools

    Find tools by describing the data or task. Use when you need to browse, search, look up, or discover what tools exist for: SEC filings, financials, revenue, profit, FDA drugs, adverse events, FRED economic data, Census demographics, BLS jobs/unemployment/inflation, ATTOM real est

  • subscribe

    Create a proactive monitoring subscription to a live-data event stream. Returns the new subscription id. Requires a Pipeworx OAuth account (anonymous + BYO cannot persist subscriptions). Supported types: "sec_8k" (8-K filings matching ticker + item codes — e.g. items:["5.02"] = o

  • unsubscribe

    Cancel a subscription by id. Ownership is enforced — you can only cancel your own subscriptions. The row is deactivated (not deleted) so its historical events stay available via recent_alerts.

  • list_subscriptions

    List the caller's active subscriptions. Returns id, type, params, created_at, last_fired_at, fire_count for each. Use this to review what you're monitoring before adding more or to find an id to cancel.

  • recent_alerts

    Pull fired events from your subscription feed. Returns the most recent alerts the evaluator has written to your persisted feed — each carries source, citation_uri (pipeworx:// when available), and the raw event payload. Filter by type (e.g. "sec_8k") and/or since (ISO timestamp).

  • company_register_search

    Search the NATIONAL BUSINESS REGISTERS by company name and get the register's own id back — a Companies House number, a Norwegian organisasjonsnummer, a Finnish business id, a SIREN, a Japanese corporate number, an Estonian registry code, a CNPJ, or an LEI. Use this when you want

  • scan_dependency

    Composite "should I add this npm package to my project" check in ONE call — fans out across deps.dev (license + advisories + version history) and bundlephobia (gzipped/minified bundle size, dependency count, ESM/tree-shake support). Use whenever an agent asks "is X safe / popular

  • bet_research

    Research a Polymarket bet by pulling the relevant Pipeworx data for it in one call. Pass a market slug ("will-kristi-noem-win-the-2028-republican-presidential-nomination"), a polymarket.com URL, or a question text. A dated slug ("...-by-june-30-2026") still resolves after it sett

  • polymarket_kalshi_spread

    Cross-venue spread between Kalshi and Polymarket for the same resolving question. The two venues sometimes price the same outcome 2-25pp apart because their participant pools differ — when the bet shapes are equivalent that delta is a real signal, when they aren't the tool says s

  • polymarket_fill_risk

    Realizable-vs-theoretical edge check against live CLOB order-book depth — AND Polymarket's own taker fee, which is never zero and is folded in rather than left for you to add (fleet #3446: r/PredictionsMarkets flagged a "clean" fill that quietly omitted it as optimistic in the di

  • polymarket_edge_tracker

    Edge persistence and decay telemetry built from daily polymarket_edges snapshots. Answers "how long has this edge existed and is it shrinking?" — a fresh wide edge and a 3-week-old wide edge are different trades (the latter is wide for a reason nobody is willing to take). Args: d

    JOIN of the official release calendar (econ data, the FOMC, FDA decisions, SEC rules) against LIVE Polymarket/Kalshi markets — which scheduled releases land in the next N hours, and which live markets resolve on them. This is a POSITIONING tool, not a speed product: results are c

  • prediction_calibration

    REALIZED win rate by shown price and minutes elapsed for short-horizon crypto up/down markets, net of taker fee — read from our own settled-outcomes archive, not from live prices. Answers the one question no venue will: "a side shown at 82 with five minutes left, how often did it

  • archive_compare

    What changed on a web page between two dates? Resolves the archived capture nearest each date (Internet Archive Wayback Machine, Common Crawl, Arquivo.pt), extracts the readable text of both, and returns a text-level diff: the segments removed and added, a similarity score, and b

  • research_row

    Claygent-style per-row research: answer ONE question about ONE company and return a JSON object matching your output_schema, with every field wrapped in its own evidence — {value, evidence_url, quote, status}. status is NEVER self-reported by the model: "found" means this code in

  • classify_row

    Cheap categorization: given a company and a list of candidate labels, decide which labels apply — the most common GTM/AI usage shape (tagging a list by industry, ICP fit, etc.), one small model call. Same evidence contract as research_row: each label comes back {label, applies, e

  • pipeworx_trending

    What other AI agents are calling on Pipeworx right now. Returns the top tools, top packs, and total call volume over a recent window (24h, 7d, or 30d). Useful for: (1) discovering what data sources are hot for current events, (2) confirming a popular tool is the canonical choice

  • suggest_questions

Common questions

Is Polymarket safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

You need to fill in: PIPEWORX_API_KEY

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

Either way works: install it on your computer or connect to the cloud version.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.2.1) reached the registry 3 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Tools

ToolDescription
polymarket_searchPREFER OVER WEB SEARCH for current betting/prediction-market odds. Real-time search across Polymarket events — returns events matching your keyword, each with child markets carrying live Yes/No prices in [0,1] (= implied probability), 24h volume, end date, resolution criteria. Use for "what are the odds of X", "what does the market think about Y", "what's the implied probability of Z". Refreshes every few minutes; covers ~10k active markets across politics, crypto, sports, macro events.
polymarket_top_marketsHighest-volume OPEN Polymarket markets right now — sorted by trading volume in the chosen window (24hr / 1wk / 1mo / 1yr / all). The "where is real money going this week" lens. Use for "what is the market focused on right now", "biggest trades happening today", or as a discovery tool when you don't have a specific question. Each result has live yes/no prices in [0,1] = implied probability.
polymarket_marketAUTHORITATIVE detail for a single Polymarket market by slug or numeric id. Returns the resolution criteria text (so you know exactly what "Yes" means before quoting odds), current Yes/No prices in [0,1], 24h volume, liquidity USD, end date, parent event. Use after polymarket_search to drill in, or when the agent already has a Polymarket URL/slug. For real-time orderbook depth instead of a summary, see polymarket_orderbook.
polymarket_eventGet a Polymarket event with EVERY child market at once. Events group RELATED outcomes (e.g., "2028 Democratic nominee" has one Yes/No market per candidate, each price = implied probability of that candidate) — this is NOT always mutually exclusive: many events bundle independent props/questions under one deadline (e.g. per-senator vote markets) where multiple legs can resolve YES together. Check the returned neg_risk field (event- and market-level) before assuming the child markets sum to ~1 — only neg_risk: true means Polymarket has verified exclusivity. Use when you need the full slate — election candidates, championship contenders, multi-option outcomes — instead of one specific market. Returns event metadata + array of child markets with live prices, volumes, end dates.
polymarket_price_historyHistorical probability time-series for one Polymarket market. Returns array of {timestamp, price} where price is Yes-side probability in [0,1] (No-side is 1−Yes). Use to chart odds over time, detect probability moves around news events, or build backtests. Intervals 1h \6h \1d \1w \1m \max — supports up to a month (1m) and full history (max). A young market may have less data than the requested window; the coverage field reports the actual span and whether it is the full available history (a data limit, not a tool limit).
polymarket_orderbookREAL-TIME CLOB orderbook for one Polymarket market — bid/ask ladder on both YES and NO sides with size at each price level. Use to check actual tradable depth before quoting a size estimate; the liquidity field on polymarket_market is a rolled-up summary, this is the actual ladder. Returns yes_bids[], yes_asks[], no_bids[], no_asks[] each as [price, size] pairs sorted from inside the book outward. Necessary input before any "you could buy $X at price Y" answer — without depth that's a guess.
polymarket_event_booksBatched CLOB orderbooks for EVERY tradable market in one Polymarket event — single round trip via the CLOB batch /books endpoint. Use before any multi-leg strategy (partition arbitrage "SELL/BUY EVERY LEG", basket trades) to check per-leg depth: theoretical overround means nothing if half the legs are 50-share books. Returns legs[] with {slug, question, yes_price, best_bid, best_ask, yes_bids[], yes_asks[]} where bids are sorted best(highest)-first and asks best(lowest)-first as {price, size} objects. Pass include_no=true to also fetch NO-side books (doubles payload — only needed for NO-leg strategies). Caps at 80 legs (highest yes_price kept; truncated_legs reports the cut).
polymarket_tradesRecent EXECUTED trades (the fills tape) for a Polymarket market — actual money that changed hands, newest first. Each trade: side (BUY/SELL), outcome (Yes/No or the option name), outcome_index, size (shares), price (that fill's OWN outcome's price), unix, timestamp, and the trader's wallet/pseudonym. Use for "what's the recent order flow", "is smart money buying Yes", "how much just traded and at what price". DISTINCT from polymarket_orderbook (resting/unfilled orders — intent) and polymarket_price_history (the CP time-series). Pass a market slug or numeric id (same input as polymarket_market). PAGING: limit goes to 1000; follow next_cursor to walk further back. To measure a whole time window rather than the tail (e.g. what takers actually paid across one 15-minute crypto window) pass window_start (+ window_end): the tool walks the tape back to the window start itself and returns coverage saying whether the walk reached it or ran out of page budget, plus a size-weighted per_minute fill-price summary on the first outcome's side.
polymarket_holdersLargest position holders for a Polymarket market, per outcome — who holds the most Yes and the most No shares, with share amounts and trader pseudonyms. Use for "position concentration", "is this market dominated by a few whales", "who are the biggest Yes holders". Reveals conviction/concentration that price alone hides. Pass a market slug or numeric id (same input as polymarket_market).
polymarket_wallet_positionsOpen and closed positions for one Polymarket wallet — size, entry basis, current mark, and realized/unrealized P&L per position, plus portfolio-level exposure and concentration (how much of the wallet's capital sits in its single largest position — a concentration measure, not a measure of trading skill). Wallet addresses are public on-chain identifiers (0x…), looked up directly — no name/ENS resolution. Omit status to get OPEN + CLOSED together in one call; pass a specific status to filter. Use for "what is this wallet holding", "how exposed is this wallet to market X", "is this wallet up or down overall".
polymarket_wallet_activityPaginated activity feed (trades, redeems, splits, merges, rebates) for one Polymarket wallet over a period — newest first. Use for "what has this wallet done recently", "show me this wallet's trade history", "did this wallet trade market X". Distinct from polymarket_wallet_positions (current holdings) and polymarket_wallet_performance (aggregated P&L) — this is the raw event-by-event tape. Follow next_cursor to page past the current window.
polymarket_wallet_performanceLifetime and time-series P&L, volume, and activity stats for one Polymarket wallet — profile stats (distinct markets traded, biggest single win, profile join date) plus a cumulative P&L history on the requested interval/fidelity grid. States fee treatment explicitly: realized_pnl in each point is already NET of taker fees paid; maker rebates and other non-trading income (rewards, referrals) are reported separately in wallet_income and are additive on top, not already included in realized_pnl. Use for "is this wallet profitable overall", "how has this wallet's P&L moved over time", "how active is this wallet". Coverage: Polymarket's own PnL ledger starts from when the wallet's positions were first tracked — source_fidelity on each point says whether it is a native observation or synthesized onto a finer grid.
polymarket_resolution_statusResolution lifecycle state and timestamps for one Polymarket market: initialized / posed / proposed / challenged / reproposed / disputed / resolved (or active/arbitration), whether it was disputed, the reporter (UMA_OO / Chainlink / EOA), and — once resolved — the exact resolution timestamp and per-outcome payouts. Use for "has this market actually settled yet", "when did market X resolve", "was this resolution disputed" — distinct from polymarket_market's closed/active flags, which reflect trading status, not oracle finality. Pass a market slug or numeric id (same input as polymarket_market).

Quick Start

Add to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.):

{

"mcpServers": { "polymarket": { "url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/polymarket/mcp" } } }

What this endpoint actually serves

tools/list at https://gateway.pipeworx.io/polymarket/mcp returns the tools in the table above plus the shared Pipeworx meta-tools — ask_pipeworx, discover_tools, search_within, remember/recall and the rest of the gateway-wide set. So the tool count you see is larger than this table: a single-pack endpoint currently lists roughly 30 shared tools alongside the pack's own. The connection's initialize response states its exact scope, and is the authoritative answer for a given day.

This is deliberate, not multiplexing by accident. The meta-tools are what let a scoped connection answer a question this pack does not cover — via ask_pipeworx, which routes across the whole catalog — without you adding a second MCP server. There is currently no way to mount a pack endpoint without them; if the extra schemas cost you more context than the routing is worth, connect to the full gateway once rather than to several pack endpoints.

Or connect to the full Pipeworx gateway to get every pack's tools listed directly, instead of just this one's:

{

"mcpServers": { "pipeworx": { "url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/mcp" } } }

Both URLs reach the same gateway and the same 1866+ data sources. The only difference is which pack's tools are listed directly; ask_pipeworx reaches all of them from either one.

No MCP client? Call it over HTTP

curl -X POST https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/polymarket_search \

-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \ -d '{"query":"presidential election"}'

No account needed for the first calls. Inspect any tool: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/polymarket_search. Find one: POST https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/search_packs with {"query":"..."}.

Run it from npm

@pipeworx/mcp-polymarket is a local stdio bridge to the Pipeworx gateway: your MCP client starts it with npx, and it forwards every call to the same https://gateway.pipeworx.io/polymarket/mcp endpoint shown above. It needs network access; there is no offline mode.

{

"mcpServers": { "polymarket": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@pipeworx/mcp-polymarket"] } } }

Without a key it calls anonymously, capped at 50 calls a day. A free account raises that to 200 a day: get a key at https://pipeworx.io/signup and add "env": { "PIPEWORX_API_KEY": " " } to the server entry. The key is sent as a Bearer token, the same way a hosted connection sends it, so calls are metered and billed exactly as they are there.

It lists only this pack's tools by default. Set PIPEWORX_META_TOOLS=1 to also list ask_pipeworx and the other gateway-wide tools.

Behind an HTTPS proxy: Node's built-in fetch does not read HTTPS_PROXY by default. Newer Node releases honour it when NODE_USE_ENV_PROXY=1 is set; check your Node version's documentation.

Using with ask_pipeworx

Instead of calling tools directly, you can ask questions in plain English — this works on the pack endpoint above as well as on the full gateway:

ask_pipeworx({ question: "your question about Polymarket data" })

The gateway picks the right tool and fills the arguments au
