Supabase
Supabase’s official server lets AI create tables, query data and review project settings in your Supabase database.
Description from the maker (original English)
Token-efficient MCP server for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.
Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.
DATABASE_URLValues marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.
Which app do you use?
Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.
Download the maker’s .mcpb file
The link goes to the maker’s own file; we do not host or repackage it. Open the file and Claude Desktop installs it.
Run this in your terminal
Fill in the empty values before running it.
Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
You need to fill in: DATABASE_URL
It runs on your computer. Your AI app starts it when needed, and data does not pass through the maker’s servers (unless it calls an online service itself).
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.4.0) reached the registry 4 months ago.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. You also need MCPB on your computer.

Light strut. Extreme load.
Token-efficient MCP server for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite — written in Rust. Part of the StrutStack ecosystem; usable standalone with any agent client.
Formerly published as mcp-sql-rust (compat binary alias still ships in v1.0).
{cols,rows,meta}, row/byte capscurl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rzlco666/strut-stack-sql/main/install.sh | bash
strut-stack-sql --version
Installs to ~/.local/bin (also creates mcp-sql-rust alias). Ensure ~/.local/bin is on your PATH.
Other channels (Homebrew, Scoop, winget, Docker, cargo): docs/INSTALL.md.

Project .env:
DATABASE_URL=postgresql://user:pass@127.0.0.1:5432/app
Without credentials the server still starts (ephemeral sqlite::memory:) so MCP initialize succeeds; set DATABASE_URL for real queries.
Official workspace launcher (loads nested apps/api/.env, never blocks start on dead DB):

"mcpServers": { "strut-stack-sql": { "command": "node", "args": [ "/absolute/path/to/strut-stack-sql/packaging/cursor-mcp-launcher.mjs", "${workspaceFolder}" ] } } }
| Choice | Detail |
|---|---|
| Default tools | search_objects, execute_sql, analyze_query_performance |
| Extra tools | --full-tools (+ DDL aliases need --allow-ddl) |
| Results | Columnar JSON only by default (token-efficient) |
| Guard | sqlparser AST; multi-statement deny; write tiers; complexity limits |
| Timeouts | Client timeout + PG statement_timeout / MySQL max_execution_time |
| Transports | stdio · --http 127.0.0.1:8080 (/mcp, /healthz) |
