Description from the maker (original English)
WCAG contrast checks, HSL palettes with :root CSS, and search of 500+ free Uwarp UI tools.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs on your computer. Your AI app starts it when needed, and data does not pass through the maker’s servers (unless it calls an online service itself).
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.0) reached the registry 23 days ago.

MCP server for Uwarp — a directory of 500+ free browser UI tools.
This package exposes three local tools you can use from Cursor or Claude Desktop. No paid API key is required. Most Uwarp listings are third-party embeds; this server does not scrape or wrap them. Contrast and palette math run entirely on-device; search_tools reads a bundled local catalog (data/tools.json).
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
check_contrast | WCAG 2.x contrast ratio + AA/AAA flags |
generate_palette | HSL harmony palettes + :root CSS |
search_tools | Search the local Uwarp tool catalog |

No clone needed. Add to your MCP client config (Cursor mcp.json, Claude Desktop, etc.):
{
"mcpServers": { "uwarp": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "uwarp-mcp"] } } }
cd /path/to/uwarp-mcp
npm install npm run build
npm test
Includes a check that black-on-white contrast ≈ 21.
npm start
npm run dev
The process speaks MCP over stdio (JSON-RPC on stdin/stdout). Log noise goes to stderr.
| Variable | Notes |
|---|---|
UWARP_API_KEY | Reserved for a future Uwarp API. Ignored today — no paid key needed. |
mcp.json)Add to your Cursor MCP config (e.g. ~/.cursor/mcp.json or project .cursor/mcp.json). Point args at the built entry after npm run build:
{
"mcpServers": { "uwarp": { "command": "node", "args": ["/ABSOLUTE/PATH/TO/uwarp-mcp/dist/index.js"] } } }
Example if the project lives at ~/code/uwarp-mcp (use the absolute path):
{
"mcpServers": { "uwarp": { "command": "node", "args": ["/Users/you/code/uwarp-mcp/dist/index.js"] } } }
Restart Cursor (or reload MCP servers) after saving.
Edit the Claude Desktop config:
~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json{
"mcpServers": { "uwarp": { "command": "node", "args": ["/ABSOLUTE/PATH/TO/uwarp-mcp/dist/index.js"] } } }
Restart Claude Desktop after saving.
