Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Find money in any wallet, best-price swaps, simulate, PnL, pools, whales, contract and bridge tools.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Add2https://…3
https://mcp.swapchan.com/mcp

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http swapchan https://mcp.swapchan.com/mcp

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "swapchan": {
      "url": "https://mcp.swapchan.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "swapchan": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.swapchan.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Create2https://…3

Menu names can differ slightly by plan and over time.

Your choice stays on this device in a cookie; no account needed.

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 7, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

Common questions

Is SwapChan safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (0.3.0) reached the registry 15 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

@swapchan/mcp — SwapChan MCP server

Swap-chan for AI agents: best-price same-chain and cross-chain EVM swap quotes, route comparison and unsigned swap transactions over the Model Context Protocol.

  • Official MCP TypeScript SDK v2 (@modelcontextprotocol/server 2.3.1, spec 2026-07-28; stateless, also serves 2025-era clients).
  • Transports: Streamable HTTP at /mcp (remote, API-key auth + per-key rate limits) and stdio (--stdio, local).
  • Talks to apps/api over HTTP using the frozen contract in packages/shared/README.md. No chain keys, no signing, no custody, ever. broadcast_tx only relays a transaction the user already signed locally, unchanged; it cannot alter it.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
get_supported_chainsChains + their chain-chan mascots
contract_abiContract ABI from Sourcify / Etherscan (or pasted), proxies followed (5 kinds)
contract_readeth_call a view function and decode it (failed read = error, never zero)
contract_encode_callUnsigned call data + decoded view for your own wallet to send
contract_approve_callPre-signing verdict (blocktools approve + verifyTx); do not send on fail
contract_build_creationUnsigned contract creation: initcode, keccak, predicted address
get_supported_tokensToken list, optional chainId / search
get_quoteSingle best route (net USD after gas + fees)
compare_routesAll routes ranked; alsoToChainIds compares same-chain vs cross-chain destinations
build_swap_txUnsigned tx for best/chosen route + exact-amount ERC-20 approve tx if needed + eth_call simulation (when RPC_URL_ is set)
get_route_statuspending / done / failed / not_found + destination tx hash

Amounts: pass amount as a decimal string ("1.5", converted with token decimals) or amountBaseUnits (wei). Slippage is in bps, default 50, hard-capped by MCP_MAX_SLIPPAGE_BPS (default 300). All failures come back as isError tool results with a readable reason.

permit2 is currently always null: the API contract v1 has no Permit2 typed data yet. When apps/api adds it, it will be passed through.
