GitHub
GitHub’s official server lets AI read and manage code, issues and pull requests in your account. Use GitHub’s hosted version or run it locally with Docker.
Description from the maker (original English)
Read DNS zones, records, failover settings and monitoring checks; add TXT records in ClouDNS.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 8, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.
cloudns_list_zonesList the DNS zones in the account, or the zones whose name matches a keyword. Paged; reverse zones are included. ClouDNS API: POST /dns/list-zones.json.
cloudns_get_zone_infoGet one zone: its status, whether it is a master or slave zone, forward or reverse, a cloud domain or a GeoDNS zone. ClouDNS API: POST /dns/get-zone-info.json.
cloudns_list_recordsList the records of a zone, optionally for one host or one record type. host_like matches part of the host and then ignores host. Master zones only. ClouDNS API: POST /dns/records.json.
cloudns_add_txt_recordAdd a TXT record to a master zone. This changes live DNS. Calling it again with the same values adds a duplicate record. ClouDNS API: POST /dns/add-record.json.
cloudns_get_failover_settingsGet the DNS Failover settings of one record that has DNS Failover & Monitoring active. The API reports Failed when failover is not active on that record. ClouDNS API: POST /dns/failover-settings.json.
cloudns_list_monitoring_checksList monitoring checks with their status (up, down or unknown) and state (active or paused). Check types: 17 Ping, 18 Web, 8 TCP, 9 UDP, 10 DNS, 12 Heartbeat, 13 TLS (SSL) certificate, 15 SMTP, 16 Streaming, 19 IMAP, 20 Keyword. ClouDNS API: POST /monitoring/get-records.json.

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.0) reached the registry today.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Use your ClouDNS account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read DNS zones, records, failover settings and monitoring checks, and add TXT records. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your ClouDNS credentials.
Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/cloudns/
On first connect you provide the API user ID (auth-id) and the API password (auth-password) of an API user that you create under API & Resellers in ClouDNS. The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.

read tools are read-only; write tools mutate data (clients should confirm them); meta tools report usage, manage your subscription or send a feature request.
| Plan | Price | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 tool calls / month |
| Pro (per user) | $9/mo or $90/yr (2 months free) | 10,000 tool calls / month |
| Pro+ (per user) | $39/mo or $390/yr (2 months free) | 100,000 tool calls / month |
Each paid plan covers this server only. Ask your AI to run cloudns_upgrade and choose Pro or Pro+, billed monthly or yearly (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). If you already have Pro, ask to change it to Pro+. The change requires your confirmation, keeps your billing interval and charges the price difference for the rest of the period immediately. Cancel any time with cloudns_cancel_subscription: your paid plan continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and asking to resume the same plan with cloudns_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. Or write to support@usefulapi.io.
