Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Manage GetResponse contacts, campaigns, newsletters and autoresponders.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 3 of 3 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • Can do 14 things (tools) getresponse_get_account, getresponse_list_campaigns, getresponse_get_campaign, getresponse_list_contacts …
  • The registry lists no key to fill in.

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Add2https://…3
https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http getresponse https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "getresponse": {
      "url": "https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "getresponse": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Create2https://…3
https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp

Menu names can differ slightly by plan and over time.

Your choice stays on this device in a cookie; no account needed.

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 6, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • getresponse_get_account

    Get the authenticated GetResponse account profile (id, email, name, company, plan, timezone, etc.). REST: GET /accounts.

  • getresponse_list_campaigns

    List the account's campaigns — GetResponse's name for mailing lists a contact can subscribe to. Paginated. Optional name filter and sort. REST: GET /campaigns.

  • getresponse_get_campaign

    Get a single campaign (mailing list) by id, including subscription confirmation settings. REST: GET /campaigns/{campaignId}.

  • getresponse_list_contacts

    List/search contacts across the account. Paginated, with optional email/name/campaign filters, sort, and a fields selector. REST: GET /contacts.

  • getresponse_get_contact

    Get a single contact by id, including campaign membership, tags, custom field values and engagement scoring. REST: GET /contacts/{contactId}.

  • getresponse_list_newsletters

    List newsletters (one-off email broadcasts). Paginated, with optional subject filter and sort. REST: GET /newsletters.

  • getresponse_get_newsletter

    Get a single newsletter (email broadcast) by id, including its status and send settings. REST: GET /newsletters/{newsletterId}.

  • getresponse_list_autoresponders

    List autoresponders (drip/cycle emails sent automatically on a schedule after subscription). Paginated. REST: GET /autoresponders.

  • getresponse_list_tags

    List the account's tags (labels applied to contacts for segmentation). REST: GET /tags.

  • getresponse_list_custom_fields

    List the account's custom field definitions (custom contact attributes) — id, name, type and values. REST: GET /custom-fields.

  • getresponse_list_from_fields

    List the account's verified 'from' fields (sender name/email addresses usable when sending). REST: GET /from-fields.

  • getresponse_create_contact

    Add a contact to a campaign (mailing list). GetResponse processes this asynchronously and returns HTTP 202 (queued) with no body — the contact appears in the list within a few minutes. REST: POST /contacts.

  • getresponse_update_contact

    Update an existing contact's mutable fields (name, tags, custom field values). Only the fields you supply are changed. REST: POST /contacts/{contactId}.

  • getresponse_delete_contact

    Delete (remove) a contact from the account. This unsubscribes them and deletes their data. REST: DELETE /contacts/{contactId}.

Common questions

Is GetResponse MCP by usefulapi safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.35.3) reached the registry yesterday.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

GetResponse MCP by usefulapi

Manage GetResponse contacts, campaigns, newsletters and autoresponders. Hosted, no local install.

Live endpoint: https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http getresponse https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{

"mcpServers": { "getresponse": { "url": "https://getresponse.usefulapi.io/mcp" } } }

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your GetResponse credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/getresponse/

On first connect you'll paste your GetResponse credentials. They are validated, stored per-user, and scoped to you — no keys in config files.
