Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Read spaces, projects, tasks and comments; create tasks and comments, update tasks in Nozbe Teams.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 3 of 3 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • Can do 16 things (tools) nozbeteams_list_teams, nozbeteams_get_team, nozbeteams_list_team_members, nozbeteams_list_users …
  • The registry lists no key to fill in.

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Add2https://…3
https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http nozbe-teams https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "nozbe-teams": {
      "url": "https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "nozbe-teams": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

What it can do

Tool names and descriptions exactly as the server reported them on Nov 6, 2026. The maker wrote them, not us; we show them as plain text.

  • nozbeteams_list_teams

    List the Nozbe spaces (teams) the token can see, with plan info. Good first call. API: GET /teams.

  • nozbeteams_get_team

    Get one Nozbe space (team) by id. API: GET /teams/{id}.

  • nozbeteams_list_team_members

    List members of the visible spaces with role (owner/admin/member) and status. Use nozbeteams_list_users to resolve user names. API: GET /team_members.

  • nozbeteams_list_users

    List the users visible to the token (id, name, time zone). Use it to turn an author_id or responsible_id into a name. API: GET /users.

  • nozbeteams_list_projects

    List projects, optionally for one space. Set is_single_actions to true to find the Single Actions project of a space. API: GET /projects.

  • nozbeteams_get_project

    Get one project by id, with description and state. API: GET /projects/{id}.

  • nozbeteams_list_project_sections

    List sections (columns or groups) of projects, optionally for one project. API: GET /project_sections.

  • nozbeteams_list_tasks

    List tasks. Filter by project, assignee, completion and due date. Dates are Unix milliseconds. Each task has name, project_id, responsible_id, due_at, ended_at. API: GET /tasks.

  • nozbeteams_get_task

    Get one task by id with all its fields. API: GET /tasks/{id}.

  • nozbeteams_list_comments

    List comments, optionally for one task. API: GET /comments.

  • nozbeteams_create_task

    WRITE: create a task. Without project_id the task goes to the Single Actions project of the token owner. Use responsible_id 'author' to assign it to the token owner. Not retried on failure. API: POST /tasks.

  • nozbeteams_update_task

    WRITE: change fields of a task. Set ended_at to a Unix ms time to complete the task. Only the fields you pass change. API: PUT /tasks/{id}.

Common questions

Is Nozbe Teams MCP by usefulapi safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.2.4) reached the registry today.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

Nozbe Teams MCP by usefulapi

Use your Nozbe Teams account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read spaces, projects, tasks, comments and tags, and create tasks and comments or update tasks. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http nozbe-teams https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{

"mcpServers": { "nozbe-teams": { "url": "https://nozbe-teams.usefulapi.io/mcp" } } }

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Nozbe Teams credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/nozbe-teams/

On first connect you provide a Nozbe API token (Nozbe → API tokens). Turn on Add it as global token to reach all spaces. The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
