Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

Read e-invoices and payments, hosting packages, domains, DNS and web usage in Play Systems.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

  • Connection: Runs in the cloud
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Category: Developer tools

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 3 of 3 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • Can do 8 things (tools) playsystemsapi_list_invoices, playsystemsapi_get_invoice, playsystemsapi_list_invoice_payments, playsystemsapi_get_package …
  • The registry lists no key to fill in.

Common questions

Is Play Systems MCP by usefulapi safe?

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.0.0) reached the registry today.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

Play Systems MCP by usefulapi

Use your Play Systems account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read-only access to e-invoices and their payments, hosting packages, domains, DNS and web usage. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://play-systems-api.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://play-systems-api.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http play-systems-api https://play-systems-api.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{

"mcpServers": { "play-systems-api": { "url": "https://play-systems-api.usefulapi.io/mcp" } } }

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Play Systems credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/play-systems-api/

On first connect you provide your Play Systems API key and your Issuer VAT number (9 digits). Play Systems shows the key once, when it is created; ask Play Systems for a new key if you lost it. The server uses the VAT number once to check the key and does not store it. The server validates the key and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.

If you already have Pro, ask to change it to Pro+. The change requires your confirmation, keeps your billing interval and charges the price difference for the rest of the period immediately. Cancel any time with playsystemsapi_cancel_subscription: your paid plan continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and asking to resume the same plan with playsystemsapi_upgrade before then undoes the cancel.
