Description from the maker (original English)
Compress, resize and convert images with TinyPNG by URL, and check this month's compression count.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Returns the output_url (Tinify's Location address of the compressed image), the compressed size and type, the savings when the input size is known, and the
tinypng_transform_imageWRITE (uses quota): apply a resize, a format conversion and/or metadata preservation to an image compressed earlier (the output_url from tinypng_compress_image, valid about 48 hours). Returns the resulting type, byte size, width, height and Compression-Count; the image itself is
tinypng_download_imageFetch the compressed image of an earlier tinypng_compress_image (its output_url, valid about 48 hours) and return it as an image with its type, byte size, width and height. Images over 1 MB are described but not returned inline. Downloading does not use extra compression quota. G

It passed 3 of 3 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.22.3) reached the registry yesterday.

Use TinyPNG from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — compress an image by URL, resize or convert the result (WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPEG), download it, and check how many compressions your key used this month. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own TinyPNG credentials.
