Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Description from the maker (original English)
Make AI work resumable, reviewable, and provable across agents.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Compared with every active server in this category in the registry. Stars count only when the publisher owns the repo.
It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.
It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.2.1) reached the registry 22 days ago.
Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

For people whose work spans chats, coding clients, and teammates, OrgX MCP connects an AI client to the same workspace record of decisions, tasks, artifacts, approvals, and evidence. A new session can retrieve why a decision was made and what was actually delivered.
This current local capture uses the shipped gallery fixtures, with external requests blocked (capture details). Try the live widget gallery to explore example states. In MCP Apps-compatible hosts, widgets render beside tool results; other clients can use the text/structured results. GitHub displays the screenshot, not a running widget.
In an MCP client supporting remote HTTP and OAuth, add:
https://mcp.useorgx.com/mcp
Authorize your OrgX account in the browser and choose the access level needed for your workflow. Configuration and authorization are separate: a saved URL does not prove workspace access. For supported client setup through the wizard:
npx -y @useorgx/wizard setup
The repository's default v2 implementation exposes explicit operations. MCP discovery is intersected with the authenticated account's permissions and granted scopes; a missing scope is not permission to widen access automatically. Profile definitions and the shipped authorization policy describe the boundary. Verify authenticated tools/list for your actual connection; a repository manifest or cached public catalog does not prove which operations a deployment exposes to you.
After connecting, ask your client:
Read my authorized workspace with orgx_get_workspace_context.
Use orgx_search with type="decision", query="release", and limit=5. Inspect a returned decision with orgx_inspect using its actual type and ID. Summarize the rationale and cite the returned source links. If there are no matches, say so. Do not start or change work.
Replace release with a topic your workspace has recorded. Success: the client returns workspace context and either a source-backed decision with its rationale or an explicit empty result. Compare the cited record in OrgX with the summary. A widget, receipt import, or producer completion claim alone does not establish verified delivery or human acceptance.
For an account-free example of the proof boundary, reproduce an agent receipt and inspect a cross-client handoff. The downloadable package separates actual local conformance, historical first-party observations, and a synthetic review example. It does not prove universal client parity, customer acceptance, or independent adoption.
tools/list, the selected profile and granted access. Reauthorize only with the person's approval for the additional permission.Connect through the client's supported remote HTTP/OAuth flow. Discover tools/list, resources/list, and prompts/list before invocation; use the returned operation schemas. The current default catalog uses names such as orgx_get_workspace_context, orgx_search, orgx_inspect, and orgx_get_operator_brief. Older action routers are compatibility operations on the explicit legacy profile.
Start by reading the workspace or searching existing records. Scope requests with returned workspace/initiative IDs, use typed filters, follow pagination instructions, then inspect the specific record you need. Reuse IDs and current revisions to avoid duplicate work or stale updates. Write operations require idempotency_key: use one stable key per intended change and resend identical input with that key after a timeout or unknown outcome; a different change needs a new key. For example, search a decision by topic, inspect its ID, and quote the evidence/rationale rather than just its title.
Before dispatch, use the supported estimate and readiness operations, then respect approval, budget, scope, deadline, and permission gates. Human decision/artifact review belongs to the review surface; discovering a tool does not grant that authority. Verification needs source evidence and the supported proof-backed completion workflow. Receipt producer fields remain claims. Do not turn a queued run, open PR, receipt import, or model completion sentence into a delivery claim.
Verify the connection with a workspace read and one narrow search/inspect round trip. If discovery changes, refresh the client instead of guessing aliases. Agents can use LLM-ready guidance and llms.txt; no workflow here authorizes buying plans or spending beyond the person's approved scope.
This public repository is currently unlicensed; public visibility is not an open-source license grant (license status). Hosted OrgX has Free and paid plans, with current terms and checkout on OrgX pricing. Your AI client/model provider charges separately; dispatched work can also consume OrgX allowances and connected-service costs. Review estimates and limits before execution. Purchases remain in the services' human billing flows.
OrgX agents should return the next useful company artifact for the user's stage, not generic analysis. For an early founder, that may be a sales strategy, customer discovery synthesis, pricing hypothesis, launch asset, or first PR. For an existing founder-led company or operating team, it may be a weekly operator brief, roadmap decision, reliability fix, budget envelope, or cross-domain initiative with owners and acceptance gates.
Normal agent work should let OrgX auto-route by task complexity and workspace policy. Use explicit low-cost routing only for controlled reliability validation or when the user/workspace sets a budget constraint.
The default catalog is defined in server.json; exact input schemas, scope requirements and profile membership are in docs/generated/tool-catalog.json.

Legacy compatibility names
These names describe the explicit legacy compatibility profile, not the default operation catalog. New connections and prompts should use the currently discovered explicit operations.
| Tool | Purpose |

orgx_bootstrap | Establish session context, scopes, and routing guidance; pass initiative_id to bind an initiative and receive its compiled work context. |
orgx_tail | Read supported material changes after bootstrap; reports unavailable change classes rather than claiming complete coverage. |
orgx_search | Find entities, decisions, artifacts, and memory. |
orgx_inspect | Hydrate one entity with execution context. |
orgx_recommend | Get next-action recommendations or morning brief signals. |
orgx_write | Create or update durable OrgX records. |

The names in this table belong to the explicit legacy compatibility profile. New prompts, skills, examples and manifests should use the explicit operations in the Current operation contract table and authenticated tools/list, with schemas from server.json and docs/generated/tool-catalog.json.
Use https://mcp.useorgx.com/hope-ux as the live conversation surface when a partner team wants to understand how OrgX receives external workflow context, scaffolds the initiative, shows health, and returns proof through receipts and the operator chronicle. The shipped machine-readable contract is in server.json; public discovery is available at https://mcp.useorgx.com/public.
Personal memory remembers the user. OrgX remembers organizational state: decisions, artifacts, teams, ownership, approvals, and execution state.
