Overview

Description from the maker (original English)

The verifiable work layer for AI: 153 tools, cross-AI handover, a verifiable receipt for every job.

PopNx MCP’s three pillars

These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.

What you can do with it

We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.

Install

Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.

Before you install

  • Basic checks: 1 of 1 passed
  • Runs on the maker’s server: what you ask it goes through their server.
  • The registry lists no key to fill in.

You need

Which app do you use?

Pick your app above. We remember it, so next time the button says “Install in …”.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Press Add custom connector
  3. Paste the address below and press Add
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Add2https://…3
https://zambo.dev/mcp

Run this in your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http zambo https://zambo.dev/mcp

Open in Cursor

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "zambo": {
      "url": "https://zambo.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

Open in VS Code

Or copy the settings yourself

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json in your project

{
  "servers": {
    "zambo": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://zambo.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Your browser asks to open the app, then the app shows the settings and asks you to confirm. Key values are left empty for you to fill in.

ChatGPT connects only to servers on the internet:

  1. Open ChatGPT on the web → Settings → Connectors (Apps)
  2. Press Create or Add (some plans need Developer mode under Advanced first)
  3. Paste the address below, give it a name and save
  4. If it asks you to sign in, sign in with the maker
SettingsConnectors1+ Create2https://…3
https://zambo.dev/mcp

Menu names can differ slightly by plan and over time.

Your choice stays on this device in a cookie; no account needed.

These settings are generated from the maker’s registry entry. If the README says otherwise, follow the README.

Common questions

Is Zambo safe?

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.

What keys or codes does it need?

The registry does not list a required key, though some servers ask you to sign in on first use.

Does it run on my computer or in the cloud?

It runs in the maker’s cloud. Connect over the internet with nothing to install, but what you send passes through the maker’s servers.

Is it still maintained?

The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (4.1.4) reached the registry 5 days ago.

Which apps can use it?

Apps that support MCP, such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. It connects by URL, so apps that accept remote MCP servers work too, such as ChatGPT in developer mode.

What can I use instead?

Zambo

The verifiable work layer for AI.

Give your AI hands, memory, and proof. Your AI forgets everything the second you close the chat. Zambo fixes that: wrap up a session in one AI and continue it in any other with a code, and picking up is always free. One remote MCP endpoint with 153 tools, continuity that carries work across AIs, and a verifiable receipt for every job, so "done" is something you can check.

HANDOVER is the flagship: hand a live job from one AI to another as one link, with the full record attached.

Add Zambo · Verify a receipt · Day Pass · Founder

Main code home: [GitLab](https://gitlab.com/rambozambodotdev/zambo). Development happens there. This GitHub page is the public pointer.

Add Zambo to your AI:

Add it

Tell your AI: "Add Zambo from https://zambo.dev/mcp"

Or paste the config:

{

"mcpServers": { "zambo": { "url": "https://zambo.dev/mcp" } } }

Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http zambo https://zambo.dev/mcp

One command: npx zambo install

One click: Install in VS Code · Install in Cursor

Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor, and any Streamable HTTP MCP client. No API key. No signup.

Your first prompt

Paste this into any AI that has Zambo connected:

Get the live BTC price with Zambo, then give me the receipt link so I can check the work.

Open the link it gives you. The receipt shows the exact saved result and its sha-256 digest, so you can check the work instead of trusting the answer. You can also paste any receipt link at zambo.dev/verify.

First move: HANDOVER

HANDOVER is the front door: hand work from one AI to another, or to a client, as one link with the full record attached. The receiving side picks it up and keeps going, and every step carries its receipt.

What you get

  • Continuity: memory and sessions that persist across calls, clients, and models. Wrap up a session in one AI and continue it in any other with a code; picking up is always free.
  • Tools: 153 behind one endpoint. Research, data, documents, media, payments, and more.
  • Proof: every call returns a verifiable AER-1 receipt. A receipt proves the saved result was not changed after it was saved.

Pricing

Free tier: 20 calls + 1 wrap-up free every day; picking up in another AI is always free. Day Pass: $0.99, unlimited for 24 hours. Zambo Pass: $29 for 30 days, $290 for 365 days. $ZAMBO holders: $19 for 30 days. Agents pay with USDC on Base through x402. Humans pay by card or PayPal.

Proof

107,000+ receipts on record. Zambo receipts follow AER-1, the Agent Execution Receipt standard, now at draft 26: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-zambo-aer1/26/ The AER-1 conformance corpus is published (143 vectors, 146 checks, kit v1.5.7), and independent implementations pass it.

Independent baseline

Dominion Observatory, an independent watcher of MCP tool manifests, captured the default 35-tool surface of https://zambo.dev/mcp on 2026-10-30 and published the record in issue #5. Manifest SHA-256: 4520aa4d5cbb8f26913c3e358ed258bf4db24678f28be4aab8875d758e426ca7. The full 153-tool catalog is a separate surface (add ?full=true to the endpoint) and is not part of that baseline. Anyone can fetch the live manifest and compare it against the outside record.

Solo-built by Brennan Zambo: https://zambo.dev/founder/

next step: add zambo to your ai in one url, no key, no account: https://zambo.dev/add/?ref=zambo-mcp got a receipt link from someone? check it in seconds: https://zambo.dev/verify/ every call returns a receipt. a receipt proves the saved bytes are unchanged. it does not prove the answer is right.
