Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Descripción del creador (original en inglés)
294 public-data tools across 60 domains; source freshness varies. Free tier.
Estos tres nunca se combinan en una sola puntuación: las opiniones, las mediciones y la popularidad son cosas distintas.
Todavía no escribimos un resumen sencillo para este. Abajo están los datos que leímos del registro.

LiveDataLink is a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives AI agents access to government, regulatory, market, compliance, healthcare, and risk data through a single Streamable HTTP endpoint. Freshness varies by source; see the source catalog and trust information. Free tier available with no credit card.
The public repository is also a Codex plugin marketplace. Install the focused, read-only LiveDataLink plugin with:
codex plugin marketplace add blackboxfoundry/livedatalink --ref main
codex plugin add livedatalink-public-data@livedatalink
Start a new Codex task after installation. The plugin uses https://livedatalink.ai/mcp/openai, a curated 36-tool surface for public-record business and counterparty research. A limited anonymous evaluation is available, so installation does not require a key.
Plugin package: plugins/livedatalink-public-data
Get a free API key first (1,000 queries/month, no credit card): https://livedatalink.ai/signup/free.
Then add this to your MCP client's config:
{
"mcpServers": { "livedatalink": { "type": "http", "url": "https://livedatalink.ai/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY", "Accept": "application/json, text/event-stream" } } } }
Use a client that supports Streamable HTTP and custom bearer headers, such as Claude Code or Cursor. Client configuration formats differ; see client examples. For a browser evaluation without configuration, open the playground. The private setup guide opens in your browser after free-key signup.
The base endpoint loads the complete catalog: 381 tools across 82 domains. For an interactive client with a smaller tool limit, use ?groups= to load only the relevant groups. For example, https://livedatalink.ai/mcp?groups=finance,courts loads finance and courts tools; call list_tool_groups to see available groups.
search_available_datasets and list_tool_groups are always available, do not consume credits, and help an agent discover which group to add.
Verified September 8, 2026: the full endpoint returns 381 tools; ?groups=finance,courts returns 45. Groups are category names, not individual source names. Unknown groups are ignored; use list_tool_groups to choose valid names. The retired ?profile=starter shortcut is not a supported filter.
LiveDataLink is hosted, so there is no server process to build from this repo. For clients or sandboxes that require a stdio command rather than a URL, the repo ships a Dockerfile that bridges stdio to the hosted endpoint via mcp-remote:
docker build -t livedatalink .
docker run -i --rm -e LIVEDATALINK_API_KEY=your_key livedatalink
Equivalent without Docker:
npx mcp-remote "https://livedatalink.ai/mcp"
Both use the full endpoint by default. Point LIVEDATALINK_ENDPOINT at a ?groups= URL when you want a smaller, task-specific catalog. tools/list works without a key, so discovery and introspection do not require credentials.
The repo ships a cross-platform installer that detects your installed clients and writes the config for you:
git clone https://github.com/blackboxfoundry/livedatalink.git
node livedatalink/bin/install.js
Idempotent — re-running is safe. --remove undoes it, --print previews without touching any files.
curl -X POST https://livedatalink.ai/mcp \
-H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list","params":{}}'

The discovery tool search_available_datasets is free for everyone, doesn't consume credits, and runs against the live catalog. Use it freely.
For business buyers: specialist sources may be sold separately, with pricing, licensing, coverage, and support terms that vary by provider. Compare your current source mix with LiveDataLink before deciding what to consolidate.
Stop juggling dozens of vendor accounts, API keys, and invoices. One MCP endpoint, one bearer token, one monthly allowance. Browse the complete catalog and use the self-service sources available to your plan; some connectors have their own credential, licensing, or coverage requirements. Allowances are hard limits, so there are no automatic overage charges. Built specifically for AI agents — open protocol, portable keys, no lock-in.
Demand-driven roadmap. Every call to search_available_datasets is logged. High-frequency unmet queries jump the build queue. Tell us what data you need; if enough builders ask for the same thing, it gets built next.
Compliance + due-diligence focus. Sanctions screening, federal courts, SEC EDGAR, EPA, FEC, IRS nonprofits, NPPES healthcare, USAspending federal awards, and threat intel (RDAP, IP reputation, FBI Wanted) are designed to be used together. One endpoint, one set of credentials, audit-friendly per-query logging.
This server treats agents as first-class users, not as scrapers to defend against:
