Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Descripción del creador (original en inglés)
Run your waitlist from your AI: test an idea, find early users, invite them and send updates.

Six skills that teach Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or any coding agent how to launch a product well with LaunchList, plus LaunchList's remote MCP server, so the agent can read and run the founder's waitlist directly.
This is a plugin, not a wrapper. The skills are workflows, not API references: they cover the decisions a founder has to make and which of them an agent must never make on its own. The exact request and response shapes live in the OpenAPI document, which the skills point at rather than duplicate, so they cannot drift out of date the way a copied reference does.
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
| launch-product | From "I'm building X" to a live waitlist: understand the product, create the project, choose a hosted launch page or an embed on the founder's own site, configure the form and how people are identified, decide on verification, turn on referrals, test, and publish only on an explicit yes. |
| validate-idea | From an idea to an honest read on demand: understand the idea and who it is for, name the project and choose the page address, write the page from a brief, publish on an explicit yes, plan where to share it, check in after a few days, and read the result against measured figures from 701 real waitlists, with its limits: a waitlist measures interest, not willingness to pay. |
| grow-waitlist | The referral loop: how attribution and credit actually work, why credit waits for verification, reward ladders, queue position and head starts, social-proof widgets, and how to diagnose a loop that is not turning without inventing a benchmark. |
| analyze-launch | Reading a launch honestly: signup sources, conversion, K-factor and referred share, verification and deliverability states, the trust verdict tiers, the stage funnel, and email delivery. What each number means, what action follows, and which conclusions the data cannot support. |
| run-waitlist | The everyday work through the connector: the weekly check-in, looking somebody up, inviting the next group to a beta or early access, tags and segments, importing a list honestly, editing the launch page as a draft, and sending an update to the waitlist in two confirmed steps. |
| integrate-launchlist | The developer path: the REST API with llk_ bearer keys, scopes, idempotency and cursor pagination; all eight ways to capture a signup; and signed outbound webhooks, including the three signature-verification mistakes that cost everybody an afternoon. |
Three rules appear in every skill, because a skill is loaded on its own and cannot rely on the others being present:
https://app.getlaunchlist.com/llms.txt. Nothing is quoted from recall, including plan limits and prices, so a copy of this plugin in someone else's repo cannot go stale and start telling them the wrong price. The package carries three manifests over one content set, so it installs in each of these ecosystems without a build step:
plugin.json Agent Plugins 1.0 manifest, with OpenAI's listing fields under extensions.com.openai
mcp.json Agent Plugins 1.0 MCP server declaration (ChatGPT, Codex and other clients) .mcp.json Claude MCP server declaration (claude.ai, Cowork, Claude Code) .claude-plugin/ plugin.json Claude plugin manifest marketplace.json Claude Code marketplace entry for this repository .cursor-plugin/ plugin.json Cursor plugin manifest (the xAI plugin marketplace: Grok Bot, Cursor, Grok) assets/ Listing icons for the plugin directories (nothing runs them) skills/ launch-product/SKILL.md validate-idea/SKILL.md grow-waitlist/SKILL.md analyze-launch/SKILL.md run-waitlist/SKILL.md integrate-launchlist/SKILL.md README.md LICENSE
Every SKILL.md follows the Agent Skills specification: required name (matching its directory) and description, with optional compatibility. Both manifests follow the Agent Plugins specification, which resolves skills as the immediate children of skills/ that contain a SKILL.md.
Copy the skill directories into wherever the client reads skills from. Each directory is self-contained, and they can be installed individually.
cp -r skills/* ~/.claude/skills/ # user-wide, Claude Code
cp -r skills/* .claude/skills/ # this project only, Claude Code
Claude Code installs plugins from a marketplace repository. This package is published at https://github.com/getlaunchlist/launchlist-agents; add it as a marketplace and install from it:
/plugin marketplace add getlaunchlist/launchlist-agents
/plugin install launchlist@launchlist-agents
The first time a tool runs, Claude Code opens LaunchList's consent screen in your browser so you can approve one workspace.
Zip this folder and upload it under Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload plugin, or add this repository as a marketplace from the same menu. Then connect LaunchList from the plugin's Connectors tab and approve the workspace.
Connect LaunchList as an app in ChatGPT and approve the workspace on LaunchList's consent screen. The server address is https://mcp.getlaunchlist.com.
Skill support differs between these and moves quickly, so check the current docs for the one you use. Two things are true of all of them:
skills/ and nothing else is needed.SKILL.md bodies are plain Markdown with no client-specific syntax, so they work pasted into whatever instructions file that client does read. Keep the frontmatter out when you do that..mcp.json (Claude) and mcp.json (Agent Plugins, used by ChatGPT and Codex) declare the same remote server, https://mcp.getlaunchlist.com, over streamable HTTP, with no credentials in either file. The server offers an OAuth 2.1 consent flow (discovery via the standard well-known documents): a workspace member approves the agent's access to one workspace and can revoke it at any time, from Account settings → Security → Authorized agents or from Embed & API → AI assistants.
A client without OAuth support can send an API key instead. Create one in Embed & API → Developers → API keys and add the server yourself, for example in Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http launchlist https://mcp.getlaunchlist.com \
--header "Authorization: Bearer llk_live_..."
Do not commit a file with a real key in it: keys are llk_live_-prefixed precisely so automated secret scanners recognize a leaked one.
The server exposes a curated set of tools, every one carrying a title and read-only/destructive annotations, with visibility filtered by the key's scopes (a key never sees a tool it cannot call):
get_workspace, list_projects, get_project, get_audience_stats, get_leaderboard (the top referrers), search_audience, get_contact, list_pages, get_page, locate_setting (turns "where do I set up X" into a link to the right dashboard screen), get_import, list_segments, preview_segment, list_automations, list_broadcasts, get_broadcast, prepare_broadcast_send, prepare_page_publish (looks only: the address, headline, preview and a token for publish_page)capture_signup, update_contact_stage, update_contact, invite_contacts, unsubscribe_contact, resubscribe_contact, import_contacts, tag_contacts, untag_contacts, create_segment, create_project, update_project, create_page, update_page, apply_page_edits (the three page tools only ever write a draft), publish_page (step two of publishing: spends the token prepare_page_publish returns, after the founder's yes; if your client does not list it yet, the founder presses Publish in the page editor), save_broadcast, send_test_broadcast, send_broadcast (needs the confirmation token prepare_broadcast_send returns), pause_broadcast, resume_broadcast, cancel_broadcastThere is deliberately no delete tool. Still prefer discovering the list from the server (tools/list) over trusting this file: your key's scopes decide what you actually see.
A key is owned by the workspace rather than by the person who created it, carries only the scopes you pick at creation, and can be pinned to a single project. Pin one to a throwaway project when you are testing an agent against LaunchList, so a misfiring integration cannot write into a real audience.
The skills are Markdown instructions; they run no code, store nothing, and send nothing anywhere on their own. The only service this plugin connects to is LaunchList, at https://mcp.getlaunchlist.com (the MCP server) and, when an agent follows the skills, LaunchList's REST API at https://api.getlaunchlist.com and public pages on getlaunchlist.com. What the agent sends there is what you ask it to do with your own LaunchList workspace: reading your audience, pages and broadcasts, and the writes listed above. LaunchList handles that data under its privacy policy and terms. Questions: contact@getlaunchlist.com.
Product facts in these skills are taken from LaunchList's own shipped surfaces rather than written from memory, and the ones worth knowing before you read them:
waitlist → invited → joined → converted, plus a terminal declined) and are tracked by role, so renaming one never breaks an automation.Pricing is deliberately absent from every skill. It is read from https://app.getlaunchlist.com/llms.txt, which is generated from the plan registry and cannot contradict the billing page.
