Requirements
- An Alice account — sign up free at aliceapp.ai (includes 60 free minutes)
- An MCP-compatible AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Grok, etc.)
- Your Alice connection URL (generated in your Alice Dashboard under AI → MCP Server)
Setup
Get Your Connection URL
- Go to aliceapp.ai/mcp
- Click Generate connection URL
- Copy the generated URL — you'll paste it into your AI client below
This generated URL contains your unique Alice API key in the path, so no additional authentication setup is required in your client.
Claude Desktop
- Open Claude Desktop → Settings (⌘ + ,)
- Go to Connectors
- Click Add custom connector
- Name:

- Click Save
Claude will now know to ask Alice when you have questions about your recordings.
Claude.ai Web
- Open Claude.ai Settings
- Go to Connectors
- Click Add custom connector

Tips
- Set permissions to Always Allow so your AI can reach out to Alice as needed
- Create a project named Alice to keep chats organized and set specific instructions
