Find meme templates that fit an emotion, situation or name (e.g. "panic", "choosing between two options", "drake"). Returns template ids, names, slot counts and blank image URLs.
get_meme_template
Get one template's text slots (what each caption should say, in order), description, when to use it and example captions. Call this before render_meme.
render_meme
Draw your captions onto a template and return the finished meme image plus a permanent URL. Pass one caption per text slot, in slot order (use "" to leave a slot empty).
get_trending_meme_templates
The meme templates people search for most this month (US Google search volume) and the biggest risers. Useful for picking a timely format.

Make memes inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and any MCP client. Your assistant writes the captions; Memegician finds the right template among 400+ classics and renders the image.

Hosted server: https://memegician.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP, nothing to install)
Free tier (no key): 500 template searches and 25 rendered memes a day (with a small memegician.ai watermark), plus trending templates
With an API key (get one, Startup or Enterprise plan): watermark-free renders; each render uses one API request

Privacy

Rendered memes get a permanent public URL so they can be shared. Don't put private information in captions. Free-tier captions pass an automated safety check.
