• search_moments

  Find the moments in Bettyapp's university and school lectures that explain a topic or answer a student's question. Use it when a student asks about a topic, or is stuck on a question, and a short part of a real lecture would help. Call it first, with the topic's name (see query).

• get_lecture

  One lecture on Bettyapp, by its id (lecture.id in a moment) or the address of its page: its course, teacher, Subjects and Levels, credit line, and every moment in it, in order, each with its play_url. Use it to give a student more of a lecture a moment came from, or to read a Bet

• get_topic

  A topic (photosynthesis, chain rule, supply and demand): the best moment on Bettyapp that explains it at each Level, from school to university, then a few more and related topics. Call search_moments first; use get_topic when the student wants an explanation at a particular Level

• list_subjects

  Every Subject with lectures on Bettyapp, each with its Levels and how many lectures it has, and the Level ladder from Elementary to Graduate & Professional. Use it to find the subject and level values for search_moments, or to tell a student what Bettyapp covers.

• find_for_problem

  Find what helps a student with one problem from an assignment, an exam or a textbook page: the moments in Bettyapp's lectures that explain it, a similar practice question and the open textbook's section. Use it when the student shows you a problem, in a photo, a scan or typed. Re

• lookup_textbook_code

  Find the textbook chapter a DIKSHA DIAL code names, and the moments in Bettyapp's lectures that explain it. Indian school textbooks (NCERT, CBSE and the state boards) print a code under the QR code on each chapter: 6 letters and digits (L1H1M6), or an NCERT code such as 1064CH01.

  Search Bettyapp's university and school lectures for the moments that explain a topic or question. Returns results, best first, each with an id for fetch, a title and the url that opens the lecture at that moment. For a student, search_moments gives more (the summary, teacher and

  One result of search by its id (" @ "), or a lecture by its id or the address of its page: the moment's title, summary, the questions it answers and the teacher's words at its start, its lecture and credit line, and the url that plays from it.

• find_related_moments

  Find the moments in Bettyapp's lectures whose meaning is close to the student's question as worded. It helps when the student does not know the topic's name ("why does e to the x stay the same when you differentiate it"). The moments are related to the question, not necessarily a
