• wefile_list_companies

  List the companies in your WeFile workspace, with their WeFile company id, name, Companies House number and filing count. Start here to find the companyId for other tools. WeFile API: GET /companies.

• wefile_get_company_periods

  Get the accounting reference date and the accounting periods of one company, with the filed flags and due dates from HMRC and Companies House. Uses Companies House data. WeFile API: GET /company/periods.

• wefile_add_company

  Add a UK company to your WeFile workspace by its 8-character Companies House number. WeFile fills in the name and address from Companies House. WeFile API: POST /company/add.

• wefile_list_filings

  List the filings in your WeFile workspace: CT600 returns and Companies House accounts, with their status. WeFile API: GET /filings.

• wefile_get_filing_status

  Get the overall status of a filing and its submission history. WeFile polls HMRC and Companies House first, so the result shows the latest accept or reject. Use it after wefile_submit_filing. WeFile API: GET /filing/status.

• wefile_list_submissions

  List the submissions made for a filing to HMRC and Companies House, with their status, HMRC IRmark and body hash. Does not poll the agencies; use wefile_get_filing_status for that. WeFile API: GET /filing/submissions.

• wefile_list_documents

  List the documents WeFile can generate for a filing (accounts, tax computation, CT600), with whether each is available now. WeFile stores no documents; generate them with wefile_generate_document. WeFile API: GET /filing/document/list.

• wefile_generate_document

  Generate one filing document from the saved filing data. PDFs come back as base64 text and iXBRL as HTML. Results over 200,000 characters are cut and marked truncated. Filings over 12 months need subPeriod 1 or 2. WeFile API: GET /filing/document/generate.

• wefile_create_filing

  Create a draft CT600 and Companies House filing for one company and accounting period. Nothing is sent to HMRC or Companies House yet. For an amendment of a WeFile filing, set isAmendment and amendmentOfFilingId. For an amendment of a return filed elsewhere, set isAmendment only:

• wefile_save_filing

  Save the figures and settings of a draft filing. Set profitLossData and balanceSheetData from the figures the user gives; WeFile computes the totals and the tax. Status in_progress starts the payment step. Send the gateway password and the Companies House code only to wefile_subm

• wefile_delete_filing_credentials

  Remove the stored HMRC gateway id, gateway password and Companies House code from a filing. Other fields stay. Refused while a submission is in flight. WeFile API: POST /filing/credentials/delete.

• wefile_submit_filing

  Send a filing to HMRC, Companies House or both. A live key (wf_live_) files a real return, so confirm the figures first; try a test key (wf_test_) before a live one. Pass the gateway credentials here for this call only: WeFile uses them once and does not store them. Check the res
