Spec Driven Development
MCP Server that facilitates spec-driven development workflows, not just Vibe Coding.
Description from the maker (original English)
Ask about and manage your own Plex, Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr and download clients.
These three are never merged into one score: opinions, measurements and popularity are different things.
We have not written a plain-language summary for this one yet. Below are the facts we read from the registry.
Pick the AI app you use, then copy the settings.
PLEX_URL, PLEX_TOKEN, RADARR_URL, RADARR_API_KEY, SONARR_URL, SONARR_API_KEY, PROWLARR_URL, PROWLARR_API_KEY, SABNZBD_URL, SABNZBD_API_KEY, QBITTORRENT_URL, QBITTORRENT_USER, QBITTORRENT_PASS, TAUTULLI_URL, TAUTULLI_API_KEY, TMDB_API_KEY, WEB_PASSWORD, SETTINGS_ENCRYPTION_KEYValues marked secret are keys to your account. Never share them or paste them into a chat.

It passed 1 of 1 applicable basic checks. We have not read the code. Before adding a key or token, see what access the server asks for and use a key with only the permissions you need.
You need to fill in: PLEX_TOKEN, RADARR_API_KEY, SONARR_API_KEY, PROWLARR_API_KEY, SABNZBD_API_KEY, QBITTORRENT_PASS, TAUTULLI_API_KEY, TMDB_API_KEY, WEB_PASSWORD, SETTINGS_ENCRYPTION_KEY
It runs on your computer. Your AI app starts it when needed, and data does not pass through the maker’s servers (unless it calls an online service itself).
The GitHub repo last changed –, and the latest version (1.4.0) reached the registry 23 days ago.

Plex Director is a self-hosted assistant for a Plex + Servarr media stack. It connects to Plex, Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, SABnzbd, qBittorrent, Tautulli and TMDb (and, optionally, your Linux hosts over SSH), and gives you two ways to work with them:
It is built for a home-run setup: run it on your LAN, next to the apps it talks to.
[!WARNING]
Plex Director holds the API keys for every service you connect and can change them, not just read them: it adds movies to Radarr and starts download searches, removes stalled torrents from qBittorrent, runs batch upgrade jobs, and triggers Servarr backups. Adding movies goes through a pick-then-confirm step and batch jobs are planned before they run, but purging stalled torrents and starting backups happen as soon as they are asked for, and the chat and Claude Desktop act with your keys. Set
WEB_PASSWORD, keep the dashboard off the public internet, and see Security requirements.
From v1.2.0, Plex Director is listed in the official MCP registry as io.github.HoneyBearTech/plex-director-mcp, so MCP clients that browse the registry can install it directly (server.json lists its settings). Otherwise, the fastest way to try it is Docker Compose:
---
services: plex-director: image: honeybeartech/plex-director-mcp:latest container_name: plex-director environment:
docker compose up -d
Then open http://localhost:3000, sign in, and fill in your services on the Settings page (Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, SABnzbd, qBittorrent, Tautulli, Plex, TMDb). The full guide, with every option, is in Docker below. To use it from Claude Desktop instead, see Claude Desktop via Docker.
Images are published to both registries, and both are signed (see CI/CD):
| Registry | Image |
|---|---|
| Docker Hub | honeybeartech/plex-director-mcp |
| GitHub Container Registry | ghcr.io/honeybeartech/plex-director-mcp |
Everything below works with either; the examples use Docker Hub.
Multi-arch manifests are published, so pulling the image gets the right one for your machine automatically.
