Manual Skill Install

If you only need to install the static skill package manually:

The CLI verifies the published artifact, installs one canonical global copy, and repairs detected filesystem-backed agent hosts. Add --project only when you want clean project-scoped copies migrated too. Account-level skill surfaces such as Claude Cowork or Claude chat still require their native skill manager. After this command, continue with https://aident.ai/SETUP.md to complete Aident Loadout setup.

This repository contains the static post-setup Aident Loadout skill knowledge. After setup is complete, agents use this skill to operate Aident Loadout through the CLI, user-managed MCP, or advanced OpenAPI surfaces.

The Cursor Marketplace package, also used by Grok Bot, connects directly to Aident Loadout through MCP. It does not install another copy of aident-skill, so it can coexist with a CLI-managed global Skill without duplicate routing instructions. Authentication

CLI auth uses aident login. MCP clients initiate OAuth on first use. Tokens are managed by the CLI or MCP client, not by the skill text.
